I disagree. I've had a lousy week. Almost lost my only set of house keys not even days after I moved in. Next day I lost my bank card. Now it's been a week and my bank card hasn't shown up. I ordered a train ticket today only to find out I needed a bank card to confirm my order to receive the tickets I had already paid for.
On the plus side after a panic and a lot of fucking around an hour away from home... I'm on route to Scotland to see my family and my 6 month niece.
Let's hope the OP doesn't have a lousy week :(

Yeah. I'm ok... it was just kind of like "wow"! My brother-in-law (with 1/2 a leg missing) packed up and sold his house a couple of weeks ago. I just couldn't get there to help him pack :-(. My step-father was 84 and had diabetes - so not a big surprise. It was just hearing about both in the space of an hour that kind of shook me.
Just goes to show, enjoy today in all of its glory....

They were not close - I think it was packing the house with all of my dead sister's belongings and and selling it that caused it. He asked me if my step-father had given me the grandfather clock with all the family ashes (I don't know what happened to it - my step-father sold all of my dead mother's things and the house a few years back without telling me).
Anyway, my brother-in-law was going to spread my sister's ashes in the back yard that she loved so much... Probably a better choice than a musty, ash-filled grandfather clock, huh?

But thats only three things D:

Oh yeah, I've had those. Sometimes it's something bad after something bad throughout the entire day.

I've been there. I think most people have.
We have a LOT of days. It's okay to just decide this one's going on the 'crappy' pile. The next one is going to be better. You're going to have a lot of days.

I personally always force myself to see things like that as separate incidents which just happened to happen in quick sucession because otherwise it's easy to slip into self-fulfilling prophecies and make things even worse. Sounds simple, but has helped me tremendously.

Best thing is to go home and have a hot bubble bath with a wine! Hope tomorrow is a better day!

It's the nature of life to have both bad and good days. One can learn from the bad days and cherish the good days.

Just had one of those days.
I was working on a Midterm for IP Telephony Services, and apparently had faulty equipment for the past hour and a half. Configurations were spot on, but the equipment was wrong. I lost 10 points because I had to ask for help.
Later I was working on a simple call-forward busy command and I couldn't for the life of me figure out why my configuration was wrong....apparently my configuration was correct I just had to take the VOIP phone off the receiver even though previously I was informed that I didn't have to do that for the command to work.
Then I figure out I apparently forgot to submit some router configuration for a previous lab (which I don't have on my computer at home) and I didn't receive an email regarding missing homework (even though it's literally sitting at my seat in class).
Sometimes life just goes bleh at me.
