So Skyrim LE [ROW] has gone down in price to 3 keys...

Saw several threads in steamtrades selling the LE version for 3 keys only (snagged one myself), but I'm just wondering, where do these come from?

Lowest price ever seem to be $12 according to isthereanydeal, and enhanced steam shows the lowest price on current sale is around $11 from the UK store. RU version is cheaper ($5.4) but is region locked. So how are traders selling them for 3 keys (~$6) only? Is it being sold somewhere else cheaper that I don't know of?

Guess I should look around for RU prices everytime even if it's region locked.

This glitch thing works on all region locked copies, I presume? Or is it just a glitch with Skyrim this time?

Works on some, mostly older games. Doesn't work with the new region lock

theoretically, if valve finds this out and would be able (and willing) to trace such copies - they could just "fix" them by applying correct subscription parameters. In other words by ru-locking them.
However i'm pretty much sure they know about the exploit, and most likely are not willing to use resources to deal with it.

afaik. They did ban (some of?) those (traders) who bought ROW copies of South Park/Thief using this exploit.

South park was region locked after the preorder started so the game was cheap without region lock... After the region lock there was no good price anymore :(

Lowest I found was 3.5 keys last sale. I guess competition forced the Russians to price them lower.

Just do a direct trade of keys for gift. Worst come to worst, they'll revoke the game and refund the keys you used to trade for it.

It's really the only reason I dared to trade for it this time (wouldn't have done it if it was a steam key).

I've bought hundreds of Steamgifts already from Russians and other sellers. Never had a problem.
Just check their rep on steamtrades to see if they have happy customers.

I feel the same, I'm very unconfortable with trading. I'm busy at the moment and I wouldn't play it right now, so I'll wait for next sale and grab it relatively cheap, even if it's a bit more than the Russian price.

Yes, you get the base game too. Check the details on Steam Store, if you want. It includes the base game, and 3 DLC-s

Revoked is always a possibility, though reading from everyone's comments it seems that the ROW Russian bug has been there for a long time and not fixed, so the probability is a bit slim.

If you trade it directly via the trade window you should get your keys back (might need to email steam support if they don't refund the keys right away though).
