Looks like servers may be shutting down in the near future, so this is one those interested should probably play sooner rather than later.
We will keep Deathgarden’s servers up at least through the end of the year, and you will still be able to play the game as long as matchmaking is viable. We are also making the game free today, so more people can join you.
(Which I suppose does make the offer time-sensitive, and thereby technically a Deal? ^.^)

So instead of making this game free to see if the playerbase increase they decide to shut it off and then make it free.
Its made by the same guys who released dead by daylight. The made pretty much the same game to compete with their other game which is really successful, i dont even know why do i look for some logic In their decisions.

Lol, well this is a bloody great example of how to screw up a game.
"Hey, pay us money for an online-only game... Oh also if we aren't successful, let's shut down the whole operation with literally no end-of-life plan"
I get that projects don't work out and I honestly don't care for new updates either. Though, obviously they never really finished the game so they could've at least given it some more depth, but even if it's a game with a single, really shallow mode, they should've added P2P server support at the very least.
It's kind of ridiculous that this just isn't considered fraud. Software that stops working once people run out of motivation to keep the lights on. Imagine if you were sold a movie, but then they just were like "Nah, don't wanna host it anymore, bye bye!". The least they could've done is provided people a way to actually use what they paid for... But that's business for ya.

Better change the company name back to Artificial Mind & Movement (A2M), or better known as...Ass2Mouth

This online only gaming policy has to change and be extinguished !! all paid games would need to have at least one single player mode (story mode) to ensure we played without servers to guarantee at least the money we spent !!for example what happened to batman origins that was disabled only multiplayer mode !!

I always knew those guys were idiots. I enjoyed Dead By Daylight, but the game had some design issues and OP stuff that never (or very late) got fixed. Like how it took them years to introduce a trap safe zone underneath the hook, even though it was exploited constantly. And not being creative enough to find ways to incentivize the killer to roam around, instead of hook camping, which made it near impossible to save the victim, thus making the game dull as hell, because most killers hook camped. Yes, you could just do the generators in peace, but that clearly wasn't intended gameplay. You're supposed to be on your toes and fear the killer. And by hook camping, I don't mean when you "area camp" and go around looking for survivors while frequently coming back to check the hook. That's fine. It's when you couldn't move 50 feet away from the hook, because then you might not get your kill. You could say that the game rewarded a roaming killer by giving them points for actions, which would also increase your rank, but people cared more about their +1 kill, and if you were a smart dev you'd realize that you'd have to do something about it.

for tl;dr you clearly abandoned this game too early, it's way different now.

That's not how to use TLDR. Abandoned too early? I played the game on and off for like three years and got rank 1 every season I played actively. What you said doesn't annul what I said even if the game is better now. Like I said, they were really slow with fixing broken and OP stuff.

That's supposedly true of any team-based online game, and yet other games manage to have decent bot support. But it's become commonplace for developers to not even bother trying. It's too hard, too costly. Easier to just put the game on Steam with some matchmaking code and skip any AI whatsoever. Which is a wonderful cost-saver.. except when there aren't enough people playing your game for people to find matches, and it dies. Leaving the developer and the people who paid for the game both with nothing.

In games that are purely action focused then bots tend to be easier to implement, as their routines are all oriented around dealing damage and following simple objectives. In games where the primary focus is attempting to be stealthy, misleading and undercutting your opponent, and fighting a lopsided predator/prey battle of attrition? Not quite so easy. I mean hell if they can really nail AI for both sides of such a thing, the singleplayer would be a pretty solid selling point. Imagine a squad vs xenomorph mode for Alien Isolation that is desigend for only one human player (with you taking over the other crew members when you die?).
'Predator' style combat/objective games are already notoriously difficult to balance overall, and that's even before you try to factor fun stuff into the mix (which tends to offer advantages to individuals, exaggerate specialisations or predator oppressiveness, etc). Any small oversight will be abused to hell and back by the playerbase, as their immersion quickly peels away from their first week of matches and they start to focus down on levelling up, grinding rewards, and doing anything to ensure victory (including severely reducing both their own fun and everyone elses).
Eeegh, I mean, I don't disagree that bots are a feature that could use more love and application in modern gaming! Crap, I guess just hearing that brought up along with an asynchronous quasi-horror game sent me off on a tangent too. I'd love to see some of the multiplayer fun compacted down into a design compatible with singleplayer.

Kind of figured dead game when half price immediately after freeweekend immediately upon release

When will they learn? Purely multiplayer games are just not viable anymore. There are too many of them everywhere.
Unless you have a massively new and refreshing game that makes a splash, you have next to zero chance of developing a player base and without a player base, your game just won't sell, and won't keep developing so no more players etc.
