I am at this point in life where I need to start choosing a career(Grade 12). I have hobbies, and would definitely want to work as someone in those paths, but salary wise, none of them are worth it. Maybe someone here would like give me good pointers. Also, if you do feel like sharing what you do, would you mind also sharing your daily routines at work?

Mechanical Engineering is what I leaning towards right now, work is not hard, really nice salary, but thing is that I need to know physics, advanced math and all that stuff. And as it turns out, I am not really understanding much. Have an exam coming up on Monday, and not ready as I don't know half the stuff I need to know.

What its important on the basic engineerings, is not that you know everything but you understand the concepts and know where to look for what you need.

Of course you need to learn as much as you can in college, one good way for this is study groups, I only needed to go to class, but I did this when i did my post-degree on Engineering

If that was I have boobies instead of hobbies, your path could be so much easier.

Anyway, it's better to do something you like for less money, than to do something you hate for more.

I manage a small wearhouse and do retail sales within the same department store. I do however have a background in computer programing and network administration. But where I live there is no jobs in that area (at least none that pay good).

My dad passed away in Dec before Christmas so now I'm thinking I may move away again and seeing I haven't done anything in programming (other then personal projects) I may do a refresher course or just do something else altogether. I'm not sure yet, waiting for a few months before making any rash decisions.

Ask yourself a question - would you rather be wealthy or happy?
