Killed mom in Binding of Isaac at last

i also only killed her once. took me about 10 hours of gameplay to finally kill her. also only reached the boss fight about 10 times or so xD

At the first time I've played it I killed her in <50 death.

Sick games that make the character kill their own mother, like Binding of Isaac and Zeno Clash..Psychological warfare.

Still didn't manage to do it but I'm only a couple hours in so I guess I just need to play more ;)

I've been playing BoI since last friday, and beat the "full game" yesterday. It took me 17.6 hours according to my Steam account, but I must add I disabled the WotL DLC, because people say it completely change the game and it's better to start with the original version. So probably I had an easier job than those who played it with the DLC (it was still REALLY hard though).

not sure..but it took me 117 hours to get all achievements, ofc on Wrath of the Lamb :D

It was in my second tentative, then I tried to beat the game again, faced Satan with 3 hearts and it was a traumatic experience, never played it again.

Took me about 5-6 hours.. No idea how many hours though, but I haven't beaten the full thing yet.

I remember watching my boyfriend playing this game and jokingly teasing him for how many hours he put into it. Then I bought it and it took me 15 hours to beat mom with the Wrath DLC. I haven't played the game since because frankly, I'm a little intimidated to delve further in, knowing that I will likely spend another 15 hours or more dying before I accomplish anything.

That being said, the experience of felling Mom after so many tries was really rewarding... and that's why it's still installed in my game library, waiting for the day when I get enough testosterone to accept the challenge again.

First time I died in Binding of Isaac, I quite cannot accept the fact that the game does not have any checkpoints or save/load feature after all the enemies I faced. Got Platinum God after 200 hours playing.

Took me 3 tries to kill mom, but I was lucky and got all super fantastic items, took me 5 more tries to do it again normally without instant win items. Basically had 1 mom kill for every 3 deaths after that and eventually 1 for 2, but after wraith it went back up to 1 to 3. Think it was a little over an hour and a half.

Think the average is like 40 deaths, but people could be lying

Just killed her for the first time too! :3 7 hours and 60 something deaths. I actually enjoyed the game a lot more after disabling the DLC :)

Not trying to bloat and being completely honest, my first run I beat mom. And I think I beat Mom's Heart on my 3rd run.But it helps that I knew a lot about the game befor I bought it.And also that I got Ipecac in the first item room. My current stats for the game is : 3 deaths,1 mom kill. Yeah I don't play it too much. But congrats though!

Grats, it's a good feeling. I also killed mom & her heart, slightly earlier though.
I don't really play BoI much anymore, achievements appear to be broken after installing the DLC, I googled and it's a common issue, however none of the solutions work for me... Not getting any achievements kind of ruins the fun for replaying a game like BoI.

Never kill mom, i die always before.
