It's very difficult to recommend something specific to a stranger. No one knows your fetishes, how much content exactly and what kind of gameplay you're interested in.
There is no universally recognized good game or any other work of art.

To be honest, it's less about wanting something specific and more about thefact that I haven't played H games and I would priority looking into anything that's worth it. I don't really have particular fetishes, just vanilla stuff I suppose. Mostly looking for a good looking and highly regarded one, if there is also anything substantial making it a legitimately great game aside from the adult content it would be cool as well

I looked into it a bit more, and I think I have a better idea of what I'm looking for. Aurelia was a great recommendation, but I felt that the artstyle worked against it, since less detailed scenes felt borderline censored, in a way. The choppy animation didn't help either. I found Elizabeth more attractive, but she doesn't really have much scenes. I kind of have the same issue with What A Legend, I like Gretta but she doesn't even have a route. Summertime Saga is a good one as well, but since it can only be downloaded from their website and VirusTotal always flags it I'm kind of worried of downloading it. I also like anime ones, Hapiness Double Room looks interesting but I'm mostly more interested in stuff like Summer Clover, or Summer Memories is one I would also try, but I'm mostly turned off by squeaky moans in VA in those ones, sounds borderline childish. I don't really like 3d adult games with those types of "stock" characters if that makes sense, I only make exceptions for more stylized ones like Subverse. I guess there's a pattern to milfs and large breasts lol, especially for western games, the age isn't too apparent in anime ones, unless it's too loli, like Senren Banka or Nikutashi, which I'm not into. When I said "vanilla", I mostly had in mind "normal" adult content, typically anything that would be considered gross or "extreme" turns me off (monsters, "fat bastard", non consensual stuff, toys/bdsm, multiple people to name a few). I like "front" stuff where the "action" is visible, not that I dislike other positions, but if a character has limited scenes and half of them are, like, side views or scenes where only an asscrack and breasts are visible there's little for me.
Given that, is there anything that comes to mind that is in a good sale? Or games I should put in my wishlist and keep an eye out for when they drop on a good sale?

I geuss it's a way to support them if you think they need money to fund an official translation but they should make it clearer to people what they're getting with a more obvious disclaimer.
This is contrast with games like HarmonEy and Knotfiction which DO have english subtitles box checked and you can see the subtitles in the preview art.
I could case less about audio (Japanese sounds better than English dubs in Hentai) but subtitles are really important or you don't know what people are saying!
Even if it's a low price I'd say pass on it until they put forward enough effort to get subtitles, check all your purchases before buying your cart!

Many use 3D modeling that looks cheap and ugly --> even when 2D, not all artstyles and character designs look good --> and even then, many times the subject is a turn-off.

The first 8 days are a slow burn, but I'm 64 hours in (now on day19, which is the last that was released) and it's one of the best H games I've played (and I've played a lot). The completed game is set to be 21 days, and day 20 is expected to be released next september.
