Are the stories different between the two Kana games?

Kana ~ Little Sister was actually my first visual novel. All I was told going in was "Give it a chance" and "Prepare for tears". Sure enough, tears were shed. I should have expected the 'adult' side of it, given the choices you could pick, but to be honest it didn't bother me. Even the taboo choice towards the end fit well, given the emotional nature of the story. The ending I got was perhaps the most peaceful of the potential tragedies, but it still hit me (it was the one where he wrote a book about what happened, and was able to move on after it all went down, complete with reuniting with whats-her-face later). I chanced a peek at the remake's page, and it mentioned a 'family secret', so I wonder if they're going to de-tabooifiy it by pulling the whole "Your sister isn't related by blood!" approach. I hope not, because that would lessen the moral / emotional dilemma of the ending sections.

Dunno about the rest of the stuff in the bundle, but I can at least vouch for the original Kana ~ Little Sister if you don't go into it expecting a legit novel-grade story or branching story paths (only the endings vary based on your choices, but the story itself remains pretty much linear).

My second was Saya no Uta / Song of Saya, which was on a whole different level. I loved that story despite the almost total lack of choices, and was able to overlook the tacked on rape stuff. Putting the love back in lovecraft, heh. Damn, gonna go look for other lovecraftian horror-ish games now. I wanna feel that tear between which group of characters I'm vouching for the most.

They say Aeselia the eternal is really goood. But 20 dollars for the sequel no chance. Starless looks interesting but again that price.

And finally I heavily recommend Kana little sister. I felt the pr0n was added to have more sales and didnt add anything to the game. Its a heartbreaking story and it almost made me cry.
