You will if you paid over the average, if not you can increase your payment on your key page to receive them.

If you beat the average price you'll receive them

If you bought a BTA version, then you can find new keys at the same page.

If you Beat the Average then yes. If you didn't, then you will need to add on to your order to get them.
EDIT: Also, I have a question for someone. I bought the bundle for 1 dollar (I didn't have money yet, but now I do, DON'T YOU JUDGE ME). So when I go to the page, and I add onto the order, if I type 3.64 for example, will it ADD ON 3.64, or will it make the total 3.64?

If you Beat the Average you should have them already. If you payed less than that and you dont have them right now you will not get them unless you increase your payment.

When you bought the WB Bundle there was an option to Beat the Average, a quick way to check to see if you Beat the Average is to check your downloads and see if Scribblenauts Unlimited or Batman Arkham City: GOTY Edition is available for download. If they are, then you beat the average and are able to immediately download the new games. If you didn't (those 2 games are still locked away) you do have an opportunity to bring your total up to the average. For example: You didn't want Batman Arkham City: GOTY, and Scribblenauts are for kids yo! so you only paid a dollar to get the F.E.A.R 2 and 3 games, you can pay the extra $4 to get all of the locked games.

Humble Bundle is officially a scam.

You have to Increase your order by whatever you need to beat the average, most likely 3 something, close to 4 dollars.

Not happy with this.

That's the point of bonuses.... No scam here, just people like you that don't understand it.

Yes, because changing how their system works so you're forced to beat the average and pay for games you already have is a good thing.

They haven't changed their system. You haven't been forced to beat the average. If you want the games, it's your own choice to pay more then the average.

Also they added the gifting option for games you already own. Don't be greedy. If you already own a few games from a bundle, give them away to someone that doesn't.

But they have changed their system. They used to give the bonuses to people who bought the bundle early, even if they hadn't beaten the average. I'm not rich and I don't have the money to buy every bundle that comes my way for $5 (which is usually the average) or more. Especially considering how dollars are expensive and currency conversion rates on my country aren't cheap either.

You should be able to understand why I'm not happy with this bundle.

Their site is getting more popular, also they are allowed to change their rules however they want. Also it may be for only certain bundles that they make it that early buyers don't get the bonuses. For example, really good bundles like this WB one.

I understand that, but I'd like a warning. For example, with the HIB9, they said that only BTA people would get the bonuses, so I went and bought the beat very early for cheaper.

I'd just like to know because the prices tend to get higher when the bonuses unlock... I don't want to be screwed over.

They did not "promise" bonus games.. even though they give it every time.. bonus games were promised only twice.

Besides.. you can buy non-BTA when BTA is cheap and the BTA price is stuck there for you when you want to increase the value

This is the... third bundle to do this, EA and I think 9 worked this way as well, though in their defense, they didn't say there was going to be any bonus games initially either.

EA didn't.

I see why you are not happy with not being rich, with how dollars are expensive and the damn conversion rates, but the bundle has nothing to share with them.

If they change how the bundle works and don't tell their customers, then yes, I have every right to not be happy.

It's not the first bundle to work this way, you just missed it. Also, they have never said you'd get them by buying at minimum before they were added either, that has just been your assumption.

"pay for games you already have is a good thing." How is that? Can't you just simply wait until the second week games are added to decide whether you want to BTA or not?

I honestly think that considering the good HB already does (some of the money goes to charity AND you get all those games for an INCREDIBLE price) it's really acting retarded and greedy. You pay 4.65 and get 12 games, wow, honestly, I'd be unhappy too with that (not). I don't usually go around offending people I've never met, but that's a really low attitude.

Calling it a scam IS going overboard. :L

I hope to get scammed this way for the rest of my life: less than $5 for an proper nice set of games worth several times that figure. I can definitely live with that.

Really wish I could block certain games from showing up in the giveaways WITHOUT using the chrome extension. Their are too many batman DLC's right now.

Quick question: my bundle page says the average is like 8$ which was the average when I bought it. Do I now have to beat the 8$ average or the current average to unlock the BTA games?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

You have to beat the $8. Unless you buy it again, then you can buy at the current average price.

Well that's very stupid. Thanks for the reply.

How is that stupid? Its like saying I was the first one to buy and the BTA was only $1 and that everyone should be entitled to BTA at $1. It gives people incentive to buy early and at a lower cost.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

BTA never starts at 1$. I bought it extremely early and the BTA before I bought it was 20$. So buying early to get a cheap BTA is not possible.
Its stupid that I'd have to pay more than you because I bought it early. Its stupid because I can just buy a new BTA bundle and pay less if I want.
Making everyone pay the current average always should be the only way.

Permalink

It could be in your favor if it's lower than current one though

Would you say the same if you bought non-BTA when BTA was say.. $3.5 and the current BTA is.. say.. $6?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Yes. Users should always pay the current BTA. Seems more fair to me. If you happen to buy a BTA bundle when its cheap, good for you, if not - pay the current average, not the average of when you bought it.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

If the first person bought the bundle for $1 then the BTA would be $1. It was an example I was using.
You buying the bundle at a BTA of $20 is just bad timing. It just happened to coincide with a big donation. I bought it mere hours later and the BTA was back down to $4.40.

@midelus. I beat the then average but not the current one and I didn't get the bonus (Guardians of middle earth, etc)

I now got them because Increased my contribution. At least they make it possible for people to increase their contribution.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

There is something wrong then because you should get your bonuses regardless of when you BTA. If the BTA price was $1 or $400, all you had to do was beat it to get Bonuses. For example, I BTA when it was only $4.40 and I have received all the games.

I dunno, I BTA the first day and still got the bonuses. Is it a regional thing?

I just saw on twitter that humble bundle support addressed the "will I get the bonus games if I pay less than the BTA" question that many people has asked.

Here's the conversation

Humble Support Ninja ‏@humblesupport
@meathat Hey there, in order to get the bonus games you need to BTA. Sorry for the confusion!

george carr ‏@meathat
@humblesupport will this be the case in the future or this bundle in particular

Humble Support Ninja ‏@humblesupport
@meathat This is applied to all future bundles!

So there's that.
