I'd say the last choice made it historically lower. US 12 for the game and others.....

this

side note: in some countries it might be cheaper as the humble bundle was. but also some people will pay more then $12 while they complained about the bundle and its price^^

I paid 18BRL in Brazil, you can convert it to 3.6USD, so way cheaper and HB here cost around 80BRL.

Yup, Argentina regularly gets screwed when big discounts happen to bundles now. Or even not so big discounts... They could at least keep the bundle up with a lesser discount :x

they fixed it now I can see the packcage/bundle at 53%off.

by the comments it seems it was a bug for others countries.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Yeah I saw that. Still, seems that they put some kind of system in place, where any time a bundle reaches a discount threshold (90%? 85%?), said bundle becomes unavailable for Argentina

yes, I see this hapoends before, so steam must have some kind of limit for us.

average of less than $0.5 per item.

A minimum price of 0.50 USD per item is the rule, country agnostic, ARG simply has the lowest rates for most (not all) games.

It seems they've removed this pack from Argentina's region, sorry, hermanos.
While it's not likely to be a price bug, I got it anyway, there was a recent price bug in Brazil where Tropico 6 price was just 7 BRL (1,50 USD), I also got it

It's not necessarily been removed as such. Valve have a minimum price per item and if a bundle drops an items price below this it isn't available for purchase. This obviously happens more frequently in the regions that have lower prices to start with.

Thanks for sharing! It's more like glitch to me. The individual items aren't discounted. I think they intended this -92% off is applied including individual item sale discounted prices.

I bought it. Added the two expansions. This is too good too miss, if this deal isn't coming back. Will follow any future news about this.

Well, glitch or not, it only seems fair to me, considering they put that package off for the duration of summer sale. And I was planning to buy it on sale, for them expansions, only to see there is only Antology available, which just wasn't that good of a deal. So if Platinum Edition was on sale, the price would have been about the same, if not lower.

Civ 1 was great, though.
I haven't touched Civ V, though.

Tbh, 5 was better according to most reviews, and it was on humble choice last month as well.
Whether an unintentional price bug or not, there were cheaper ways to get the game at least.

Still, thanks for the share - im sure some will have gotten it cheap this way :)

i have sold my humble copy as i already had the base game and 3 dlcs, didn't want to activate it. now i could complete my platinum edition for 7,84€ which compared to the 8 tf2 keys that i got for my humble key is a really good bargain

IV was better than 5. VI... grew on me. It's a natural progression away from the original games

It seems like you haven't tried the game yet.
The Rise and Fall / Gathering storm expansions add many new mechanics, which add a lot of stuff to the game:

  • Gold ages / Dark ages - based on your achievements during the era, you receive bonuses or penalties (but dark ages also unlock you unique policy cards, which can help you get back on the top)
  • Connected to the Gold/Dark ages your achievements are written in a timeline, which you can review at any time (and when you look back, you can see how much you achieved)
  • Loyalty - if other civilizations have higher influence in your city, the city can revolt and declare independence and may join another civilization later on
  • Governors, which provide special bonuses in the city they are stated in
  • Better alliances
  • Floods, Volcanoes, storms, and more
  • Climate changes - Based on the CO2 emissions of the civilizations natural disasters are more likely to occur, the sea level rises and the ice caps can melt
  • Resources are completely changed - e.g. before you got 3 pieces of iron from a mine, which you then used to make units. Now you receive resources from improvements every turn and then they are expended to create and maintain units
Fuel resources you use (to e.g. create electricity for buildings to work properly) affect the CO2 levels
  • Emergencies - certain events or actions you or other players perform can result in an emergency (e.g. a natural disaster, converting cities to a religion, someone warmongering) - it's a competition, where you have to help the ones affected in exchange you receive some bonuses
  • World congress - civilizations can vote on proposals, which can bring bonuses or affect some civilizations negatively
  • World games
  • New 21st century technologies/civics
  • Railroads, canals, tunnels
  • New civlizations/leaders
  • New natural/world wonders
  • New units, upgrades, and districts

If you enjoyed playing Civ 6, the dlcs are worth it for sure.

I don't have Sid Meier's Civilization VI, you're price (10.65 $) is because you maybe already have Sid Meier's Civilization VI (the base game)

There's a weeklong promo. The two expansions got discounted at lowest record in the bundle or individually. The other DLCs that are part of Platinum Bundle are discounted too, but not individually.
