So, here's the solution to this puzzle.
This puzzle involved 4 Tiers, and it led to a giveaway.
Note: 3 of the solvers in Tier 2 and 4 were by me.
Tier 1:
"Two days to go" --> Giveaway ends in two days after this thread is posted.
"Non-contributor" --> Non-contributor.
"It's hidden in plain sight". --> Source code of this giveaway, and this. My comment had a hidden link to Tier 2.
*Note: I also had several other clues hidden in the thread through the source code. Such as "Google is (not) a douche", and the biggest one "Usethefirstletter" hidden in the comment "Talk to me sometime." (referring to Q5 of Tier 4).
Tier 2:
Quiz
Final stats: 200 guesses, 20 players, 18 solvers.
1) Axe; easily Google-able.
2) m; obvious enough. I put it in the thread.
3) h; say it out loud. Or use google translate.
4) 9; I used this in a previous puzzle, except with 4s, I believe.
5) b; Don't over-think it. When I say "b" I mean the answer is "b".
Put those first letters into an imgur link, and BAM!
Tier 3:
Final stats: 33 views.
Squint, and you'll see the Tier 4 link. Or use MPaint or something to fill it in.
Tier 4:
Final stats: 864 guesses, 16 players, 11 solvers.
1) Energon; this can be easily googled.
2) I; when you Google it, you'll notice that I replaced the capital "i"s with lowercase "L"s. However, I didn't change the lowercase "i" in the sentence. Therefore, the answer is I.
3) epithelial; one of the first Google results you get when you search up "SQUAMOUS" should be "Squamous epithelial cell", and therefore, epithelial is this answer.
4) trill; "two standing waves" --> "two notes".
5) o; the video was meant to make you think "baby talk". A baby can't pronounce words, and often makes sounds like "ooh". Therefore, the answer is o.
Once again, provided you answered the quizzes with the above capital letters (important; as itstoohard isn't case sensitive); take the first letter of each answer, and you get EIeto.
Which led you to the giveaway.
Enjoy the headaches? Yeah, I enjoyed sharing it. My exams are over now, so... :)
