anyone still play minecraft ?

i just watch "Story of Mojang" last week. pretty nice

No. 1,5 years playing that game is enough for me imo

i usually play it after an update or big mod comes out, get sucked in for a few days and then forget about it for another couple months.

TBH i dont really see the point in vanilla, its all about mods

Stopped playing it in 2011. Sometimes i play it here and there when there's nothing left to do.

I did until recently, deleted my world by accident and the last backup i had was a week old(a week full of a ton of work).
At least i learned that naming everything the same can lead to problems later on.. :D

Well, Minecraft sold 453k copies on Christmas. Assuming some of these people play the game, then the answer is yes.

Minecraft will probably still be popular for long time, it can't really get "old" since it have simply mechanic and graphic, it could be less popular but not "old" as a video game. There are still lot of adventure maps, mods and updates made to the game and it have quite stable and I think still growing community.

You should give it a try in multiplayer, I remember being addicted to it for a while last year until we ruined it with admin commands :p

I'm currently on a break from playing it. Will do it again some time in the future. And yeah, it's fun to play with mods.

I play tekkit occasionally with the sphax texture pack.

I only play it with the Tekkit modpack nowadays. Vanilla gets too boring :P

I play it in very long spurts of dozens of hours and then I take a break for a couple months. Currently in the break phase, but I'm itching to play it again and finish my castle. :)

To be honest, I really didn't like the game at all until the Adventure update, but now I have a blast.
