Continuity saved game, Dead Island and Dead Island Riptide

Can we use the save of the first game in Dead Island Riptide? I say, if you finish Dead Island with Logan character in level 40... in Dead Island Riptide (as will be the same characters and one extra), can I use my character, Logan, at level 40?

I'm seriously doubting that too. They would have to increase the level cap by a huge amount. It makes more sense just to have characters starting at level 1 again.

Quite an old article, I would have thought they would push that feature onto the store page if it existed. Especially with pre-orders containing Dead Island GOTY.

No, but you can use your saves from The Walking Dead game. It will automatically add DRAMA and SUSPENCE to the game.
