I had 200+ mods installed. Spent a lot of time reading mod notes to make sure they were relatively conflict-free. So thankfully I never had too many issues. :)

I used tools to ensure, it's not like it was game crashing bugs, but weird graphic glitches which bothered me a lot T_T, and sometime game crashing ones :P so I just uninstalled everything to try again but can't bring myself to

I know the feeling. I left a lot of quests undone, but at level 60 I felt like I'd "completed" that character and left everything in place to start a new playthrough. Then I found SteamGifts last summer and my backlog exploded. I finally had the courage to delete Skyrim and all my downloaded mods and tools over the holidays for the sake of playing other stuff.

Oh I understand what you mean ^^ I think I went pretty far, I'm not sure, but I think it's best summed up by the picture below, after I stopped playing with my first character I can never bring myself to go back and now I realize it was a mistake and I should have just gone ahead a bit more till i finished it ^^, I still have all my mod files, they're huge but i can't bring myself to delete them, and my internet isn't quite good

Definitely keep your mods if your connection is slow.
The biggest thing now dissuading me from picking up the game again is that it wouldn't just require downloading the mods again but going through all the configuration with the tools, checking for conflicts, etc.

The only thing dissuading me right now from playing again, is that I uninstalled [2 days ago xD] and that I think one of my usual mod files is corrupt and i don't know which so I feel lazy to figure out which one it is one by one, I'm pretty sure it's oblivion hair pack or something ^^
