hey rapturian, I knew that thread, in fact I almost made a mistake, would have been a bit embarrassing :P
the thread is about doing a giveaway about a game that you the user have wishlisted, aka buying and giving something you don't have and you want, thus, sacrifice.
The mistake would have been giving something I didn't have wishlisted, even tho I wanted it it wasn't in my wishlist (probably was/is in the SG one tho)
and it just wouldn't be fair "adding" it to my wishlist right there on the spot so it would meet the requirements.. that's kinda a d¡ck move, so no.
Alright, this sorta confession would bring blacklisting maybe? welp can't do nothing about it, free will and all that, if someone out there cant apreciate a lil honesty and provides punish for it then so be it.. Now this: I've taken more than I've gave (to this moment, but it could be different later, that's the goal!) Climbing and going upwards was always more difficult, same as building.. takes so little effort to destroy something, right?
So, thanks for this topic and for the Shovel Knight giveaway, it's exactly my cup of tea, what the doc prescribed to me, and I know for a fact I wouldn't be able to afford it right now, so appreciate the chance, however slim it be :)

I don't think it's a dick move? and i sure as hell aren't gonna blacklist people for making confessions or just giving their opinion (i don't even know if i even have anyone on my blacklist). Shovel knight isn't actually a top wishlisted game. I was planning to give it away for quite some time now. I wanted to do a giveaway for stardew valley because it's my current top 1. But i've been waiting for my money to arrive on paypal for days now (and it still hasn't) and i just saw shovel night had a discount and i could afford it.
So I myself am kinda breaking the rule. Does this make me a bad person? Maybe, but i still feel really happy when all these people say nice things in the comments section.
And don't worry, i'll give stardew valley away one day before i buy it for myself

I bought Stardew Valley and I love it! it's what it promises and more :) as a harvest moon fan and the art style nostalgia, I just couldn't pass up the chance to get it when I had the money for it, so I bit the bullet and I have no regrets..
