Their presentation is nevertheless still a bit off, though:
This is due to the expiration of music license agreements for the game. Alan Wake’s American Nightmare is not affected.
For 48 hours, you can buy Alan Wake including DLCs and Alan Wake’s American Nightmare at a 90% discount on Steam.
If you already own Alan Wake – like the majority of the gaming population out there - you have nothing to worry about. The game will stay in your library and continue to work for you.
That last bit just did not at all need to be added, and while they likely intended to reference the franchise pack, the second sentence ends up being rather inaccurate. :X

And Bundlestars https://www.bundlestars.com/en/game/alanwake
And Indiegala https://www.indiegala.com/store/product/alan-wake/108710
And Wingamestore http://www.wingamestore.com/product/4824/Alan-Wake/
...
Wow too many! Too many!!!! It seems it is discounted in (almost) all resellers after all https://isthereanydeal.com/#/page:game/info?plain=alanwake

It'll be discounted on Indiegala and GOG. You can grab a couple of DRM free gifts too.
"Alan Wake is also sold on GOG, and will vanish from there too, but Remedy say they don’t have any control over discounts (or the lack thereof) on GOG.
Update: GOG got in touch to tell us that yup, they’ll discount Alan Wake this weekend too. If you want a DRM-free version, voila!"

Just to be clear, Humble gives you everything both as Steam content and DRM-free downloadable files. So Humble gives you everything that Steam and GOG give you, together. Humble gives you EVERYTHING.

Pretty sure they're included as part of th game as they aren't listed under either of the two DLC packages.

Just installed to check and it seems as though they aren't included in the Steam version at all except as the in-game files.

Awesome! This looks like the way to go.
Heres a review (its in Spanish, but you can click translate) of the free 'Alan Wake Bonus Materials'
Pretty informative breakdown for those interested:

Just to be clear, Night Springs are in-game episodes of an in-game universe TV show (which American Nightmare ties into), and not actual playable content. Even if the episodes are exclusive to the GOG version in being able to be watched outside of the game (keeping in mind that they're readily available to watch online), there's no actual in-game content differences between GOG and Steam versions of the game.

I would prefer if they added it to GOG connect. I won't pay again for a game I already own.

Most stores already offer it for the same price as Steam, if anyone wants to hoard some keys. :)
Comment has been collapsed.
Doesn't include the collectors edition content, or does it?
*Nvm, it does!
Comment has been collapsed.
Yep, cheapest price if you're already a subscriber to Humble Monthly and includes DRM-free copies, so Humble is the best deal.
Comment has been collapsed.
Damn, for that price, might as well grab it. Looks like a good game, I could regret not getting it while it's still sold on Steam. Thanks for the heads up! :)

For me, i recommended it because i play it before (maybe 3 - 4 hours), this game will be compare to DreadOut or The Evil Within

I really enjoyed it but I may be bias since its very nostalgic (got it on xbox 360 on release).
Its got an intriguing story and narration similar to Stephen King novels and Twin Peaks. Controls are very basic and nothing special, and the story is linear so little to no exploration. It has a lot of cool stuff around to find though (radios, Night Spring shows, collectables). Its definitely well loved for its story above all else.
I would def recommend if you like mystery novels or shows, especially for the price
edit: i didnt mean ps3 lol I forgot I had both consoles and it was xbox exclusive

Yes, but we can still buy keys at Humble for the same price: https://www.humblebundle.com/store/alan-wake-franchise

Not that CV is my primary concern, but let's say I grab a key at bundlestars to make a giveaway, it'll be 0 CV once the game goes off store, right? Also .... will the keys still work once it goes off store? I know it'll stay in library, if already activated, but what about unused keys?
Comment has been collapsed.
Support never did that for "Alice: Madness Returns", so I wouldn't count on it. But it's good to know, that the keys won't expire, at least. So I'll have time until Monday evening to decide if I'll give away a copy, I haven't done a giveaway in while, so maybe I will. It's just, even though CV is not my primary concern, it sure feels better to get that small CV bonus, especially as I could always use they money to give away something else instead.

Did you ask support? From what I've read or been told, you can put in a support ticket and ask them to restore its last known price. I don't think they do it just to do it.
The old Prey has its store value listed if it was really $15. https://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/RkEF1/prey
I can't give you a real answer. Just put in a ticket with Support since the worst you get is the answer no, but if they have added other games I don't see why they wouldn't add it back upon request.

Here was the response to my ticket.
"This site uses dynamic data provided by Steam in order to determine the CV/P value of every game. When a game is no longer for sale on Steam or it goes f2p, Steam returns a value of 0. Any attempt on our part to override this value will be undone by the site once it fetches the most recent data. Therefore, there is nothing to be done about this matter."

I don't think it's a mystery, it's like Sooth explained below, they can set a price manually, in case there isn't even a store page on Steam any more (as it's the case with Prey), but if the Store page remains and just the purchase option is removed, the value will reset to 0. It's not fair, but at least we can predict it in advance this time.
Comment has been collapsed.
Support only manually edits game value if the game is actually fully pulled from Steam (in the sense that they no longer have a store page up at all). This is why Alice, in the same manner as Mafia 2 before it returned to Steam, remains at a perpetual $0 value. Games that are purchase-disabled due to licensing issues are generally never removed from Steam, so it's safe to assume Alan Wake would end up providing 0 CV until/if it returns to Steam.
But yeah, keys don't expire unless the developer/publisher manually revokes them. As your ownership of the product (regardless of its activation state) precedes the license expiration, there's no grounds for the developer revoking the keys (for the sake of the licensing expiration).

Anybody know if the Humble key is region locked for SEA?
Comment has been collapsed.
Did anyone find a third-party store that lists the Alan Wake Franchise (ie, including American Nightmare) at that -90% discount price?
Comment has been collapsed.
Dont Hb sell it?
https://www.humblebundle.com/store/alan-wake-franchise
Comment has been collapsed.
Ah, sadly they don't seem to offer Canadian pricing :(
Comment has been collapsed.
In the end, I got American Nightmare from Humble (in USD), and Collector's Edition from Bundle Stars (in CAD). Seems to be the cheapest combination if you can't use CAD on Steam.
Comment has been collapsed.
Yes if you can use CAD on Steam, they are the cheapest, at 4.39 CAD
(I mean, not considering exotic, geo-restricted things like Russia and such - although I don't know all regions, maybe some others are even better)

Last chance to get this title before it disappears from the store forever. I grabbed the Collector's Editions extras from Steam since I already owned everything else. All owners, don't forget to grab the Bonus materials DLC for free before it disappears!
Comment has been collapsed.
lol Humble Bundle and Steam still have it in their store for normal price, GOG removed it and Amazon sells it for 2,79 € (at least here in germany) xD
