Fanatical Keys - Help regarding regions

Seeing as I've already messed up once before, I'd like to ask for a bit of help this time, lest I make a mistake again lmao.

I bought 2 keys from Fanatical, both games being Wicce and Metro Exodus - Gold Edition. Now, I bought them from Mexico. I'm unsure whether, similar to Steam's restrictions, price differences avoid me from gifting outside of LATAM (don't know if that's the case). Also, according to SteamDB, Wicce seems to have no region problems, however Metro Exodus - Gold is confusing me, I don't know if I should look at the restrictions for Metro Exodus, Exodus - Gold, or both.

Worst case scenario, I'd restrict it to LATAM, but I kinda want to make more open giveaways, if possible. Thanks in advance for any advice you might give me.

  1. login into your fanatical account
  2. go back the game page (e.g. via search)
  3. you should see an notice "Activates in Mexico" with beside "View all." Click on "View all."
  4. go to the top of drop down list "Afghanistan" and use the down arrow to scroll through the countries
    Two possibilities:
    a. it is very restricted, then you will see a lot of red, and a few green items. You can make a giveaway and select the countries authorized.
    b. it is very open, then you will see a lot of green, and a few red items. You can select all countries in the giveaway and unselect the few restrictions.

It is a tedious process. If anybody has a better solution, I'll use it!

Okay, so it's less restrictive than I thought, as Fanatical shows almost no restrictions for Wicce, and no restrictions (weird, honestly) for Exodus - Gold. Thanks for the input.

to add to that... cross reference it with steamDB... fanatical can tell you it won't work in countries it works in.

especially true if it attempts to say it only works in 1 country which I had in the past with one of the quakes... everything was red but USA... but after winner activated it I checked it... was a global key.
