Prison Architect is brilliant, I would urge any fan of similar games to check it out!

but be careful some ppl might call them sexist...

I find it disappointing that Introversion decided to scrap their previous project and do this instead. I can only hope that the cutesy graphics are their way of making a statement about the prison industry. The fact that you have to actually perform executions on the inmates... is unsettling.

I used to love Theme Park as well as RollerCoaster Tycoon. Both quality games.

My favorite is Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis.

I'm really looking forward to EA's next SimCity... yet I'm sadly convinced that their always online, multiplayer focused direction will tragically kill it.

I still play The Movies occasionally, an excellent game IMO.
Unfortunately there aren't many semi modern Construction/Management games out there anymore, and Prison Architech doesn't sound particularly interesting to me.

I loved Zoo Tycoon back in the day :D

Smooth Operators, included in the latest Indie Gala bundle (DRM free bonus game), also belongs on that list. It's similar to Theme Hospital, only you build your own call center. It's pretty addictive, give it a go.

Sim Golf was fantastic, and is long overdue an update/sequel.

It looks like a lot of fun! I would pick it up if I had the money. To be honest, when I heard about it the other day I got really excited. Started reading about it on the site and didn't bother paying attention to the price until I was long past sold. xD I'll try to pick it up whenever I may have some spare moneys.

I'm now very eager to get Startopia and Dungeon Keeper on GOG. My wallet really dislikes this thread right now.

Okay, so now, with a cynical thought I looked up some interesting tycoon titles, thinking that maybe someone joked about there being a tycoon game for basically anything. The result: I REFUSE TO BELIEVE THAT THIS SHIT EVEN EXISTS

P.S. is it sick that now I want to play it? Am I such a sucker for hilariously bad stuff?
