Hi SG, a couple of small improvements to user profiles today extending the information in the previously available tooltips.

If you visit a user's profile and hover over the number of gifts won or sent, you'll see a breakdown by feedback status. At the same time, you'll see the number of full, reduced, and no value gifts (https://www.steamgifts.com/discussion/RCZPq/reduced-cv-and-no-cv-giveaways) that make up the displayed number.

If you hover over the price of gifts won, you'll see a tooltip that says Received Value. This checks to see if the gifts won offered reduced or no contributor value for the giveaway creator, and if so, it lowers the Received Value accordingly. This should give a more accurate picture about the value of gifts a user has won.

When you hover over the price of gifts sent, you'll see Contributor Value. This is the value the site has calculated for the gifts sent, which is also the value used to generate a user's contributor level. This looks at whether the gifts sent were full, reduced, or no contributor value, while taking into consideration games that were sent more than 5 times, and giveaways with too few entries.

I'm glad that there are constant improvements to the site! Thank you for creating what you did :)

My wish for the feature would be to have a website that does not depend on external tweaks, at all. I'll say it once again, a Black Theme should be STANDARD for all websites!

tool tips? How have I never noticed those before? Nice.

On my own account when I hover over won it says 2 no value and for given it says 1 no value.
I've never given away a no value game. I like it and I intend to but I've not yet done so. Does this mean that one of my past GAs has been reduced to zero at some past point? My understanding is that the site now keeps track and that won't happen anymore to past GAs.

Not a big deal but the most important question. Did I miss my chance to make the "but why have I lost a level" posts? lol.

probably old GAs that don't have a store page anymore

you had a private giveaway with fewer than 5 entries
for received one was fewer than 5 entries, the other no longer can be bought on steam

So no, it doesn't appear you missed your lost level posting chance yet :3

Ah. So I did. I had forgot about that.

I think its not that, because I do have 2 Group GAs with less than 5 entries but I don't have anything on "No value" ones.

Why do wins with less than 5 entries count towards the receive value when the creator does not get any CV

Because it shows how much someone really won. Fact that creator didn't get CV for them (to prevent CV farming) doesn't mean that they shouldn't be counted for the winner (site level is not based on won gifts, so no harm done here).

This may look weird (as SGtools calculated it differently), but IMO it's really good change.

Really nice change. I guess it'll be easier to explain how the system works to new people now.

Would be nice if the no value had an additional breakdown showing the number of giveaways that were outright no value, and how many of them were due to the giveaway getting less than 5 entries.
