While I'm more of a lurker myself, I did manage to (finally) win myself one Fortix copy from these boards.
Despite not being an avid poster, I'm still very much aware of this assumed tradition - one which won't end with me.

And so, having won a copy of Fortix, I've instantly bought another one to give away. Here's my little Fortix giveaway! Enjoy!

While I'm here... Please tell me your earliest gaming memory.

I think my very first gaming memory comes with my nes and Super Mario Bros.

One of the first gaming memories that sticked with me was when I entered my own first name on a highscore screen for Track & Field II
I was only 4 or 5 and my mom started shouting at my dad, urging him to get in the living room as quick as possible :p that's why this memory stuck I guess. It was the first time I ever spelled my own name on my own. Always been a gamer :)

I love this one. Almost as big as the day you learned to walk.

Might as well share my own... there are two actually, and I'm not sure which came first.

1) Playing Prince of Persia on a DOS machine, and failing to get past the second room.
2) Getting my first Game Boy, together with Tetris.

There's one extremely foggy memory surpassing both of these. There I was playing on an Atari with my older nieces, only I have no idea which games that were.

It was so long ago, that I don't remember the games, but I had that very vintage looking Atari 2600 console.
First game I recall by title was Falcon Patrol II on Commodore 64.
First game I played for hundreds of hours was Midway Campaign on C64.
I was a screwdriver master back then! (obscure joke understood only by C64 casette player owners ;))
