Cannot Connect To Steam?! Won DOTA 2 But Not Receieved But Says "Gift Received"?!

I can't get any connection to Steam and I just won DOTA 2, and when I went to check my email, it wasn't there, so I came back, and I looked at the "Received Gift" thing, it already had YES checked off. Anyone else cannot connect to steam? And the person who put DOTA 2 up in a giveaway was "azL". PLEASE HELP!

the gift will not automagically be sent to your e-mail.

you already won games here, you should know that.

The giveaway creator has 7 days to gift you the game and I hope he will wait at least 6, so you will learn patience ;)

I've entered over 40-50 times to win DOTA 2, and when Steam is fixed, I expect it to be within my Steam in 3 hours, as I don't tolerate crap like that. I just really want DOTA 2, and now that I've won it I won't get it...

Here a month and thinks he should win things on the spot. People who generously give things don't have to be there for you kid. Not like you have gone out of your way to be generous either. So it might be best to be quiet.

"Where's my DOTA 2??? I accidentally clicked that I recieved it, but I didn't." was what he told the person on steam.

Also he has DOTA 2 already. So no idea if it was the gifter who sent him or not, if he hasn't sent yet then OP is a greedy bugger :P

Steam's been very unreliable for me sending/trading the past day and a half or so.
I wasn't able to send gifts via email, it would send but the person's name wouldn't be added to the item, marking it as sent. I could only add them to friends and 'send directly through steam'.

Yeah, but apparently azL is a nicer person than you and I :P Also, I'm not sure if he could reroll a public giveaway just because he doesn't like the winner...

And AFAIR, he could have changed 'not received' to 'received' - I can be wrong on this one, though.

If he sent to him 3hrs ago when close to 4hrs ago I noticed OP had DOTA 2 on his account, then OP shouldn't have entered the giveaway.
