Nobody would ever use their awful website if they didn't give away free goodies. It's such a sluggish, ad-infested place that makes old 1990s era amateur Geocities pages look polished.

Also, when is the last time you've ever heard someone say, "Hey, did you see that article on DLH?" Chances are it's been a while.

Sure, they put up a passive aggressive message, and out of context you're thinking "OMG how unprofessional." Then you see the torrent of abuse that led them to that decision, and instead, you're thinking "Ah, well can't really blame them." I highly doubt that there's a whole team of pros behind that site, probably just one or two guys milling away in the background. That's probably why the emotional outburst went unchecked.

I guess they were upset at the time, but the benefits of hosting giveaways outweighs the negatives... and so, they're back. The extra visitors probably bring in ads revenue.

Oh, their website is beyond terrible and Blando's right, there isn't really a reason for using their website apart from the giveaways. But there really is no need for entitled little turds to hurl abuse because they didn't get their grubby little hands on a free game.
