I don't understand these "win-button" games. You wander around in real time combat with absolutely nothing to do, then when you have accumulated enough action points you go into turn based and shoot the baddies 12 times in the face in an instant. Why do people like them, am I playing them wrong?

Soundtrack, gameplay, its an all-round great game imo. Especially the narrator.

Ya, but most of the time you are fighting battles. And they are just insufferable to me.

I don't know what you're talking about actually. Care to elaborate on what you mean?

Win-Button, As in combat where you wander around with nothing to do until you accumulate enough action points to press the win button and shot the badie 14 times in the face.

I suppose I do know there's a couple combinations you can do in the game that can be like that, but unless you're looking up what those combinations are, the combat is very much not like that.

I don't mean that there is some winning combination of functions, but that that turned based combat mended with the real time is stupid. You cannot do anything in real time, and in turned based you are ridiculous.

Maybe you don't understand these games, because particular Transistor is not about cool shooting gameplay, this game like Bastion must be about story and awesome soundtrack. At least Bastion was like that, but gameplay was good in Bastion.

Too bad it's a short game and has little replay value like Bastion.
