Anybody ever play the Xbox port? Thoughts? Wondering if I should dismiss it now that this classic PC version is free.

It's been on my wishlist forever (never goes on sale), but supposedly the only reason to grab it nowadays is for a revised HUD, and an endless-wave-of-enemies survival mode. They didn't revise that HUD for no reason, so I imagine the original is rough by today's standards.

The trilogy has been free on PC for a very long time under the name Aleph One, along with plenty of mods. They're simply bringing it to Steam to expand the audience.

OMG! I spent soooo many hours in Marathon! I think that was my first rabbit hole game.
There was so much modding too. Classic.
