I love this game. Only played a little bit of it but thats going to change in the next few days. My only gripe is how small everything is. I wish i could go full screen, but ah well. Still i can see why people can easily pump 40+ hours into the game.

Oh duh didnt see that. lol i was looking for something like that anyway. Still better but that minimap sucks. Getting the hang of it though. Wish equipment didnt break so damn fast but ah well. I notice there is a skill for bare handed fighting. might pick that up after one of these runs.

Running bare-handed is actually a fairly easy way to get through the game. The barriers go down in an instant if you do, because you're doing like 8 hits per attack. You can also +quality your equips so they don't break too quick, or just vault a weapon or armor with like 400 durability.

Bought it the other day. It's a pretty great game.

I heard the harder modes make it a bitch. I guess One Way Heroics+ when it comes out will be something you're into. I hear it's suppose to add a bunch of new content to the game. Though it's unsure if it's a new game or DLC. I also heard a rumor that buyers before OWH will get it at a discount.

Thanks, it is a fun game. I liked it so much that I crafted the badge :P.

I can attest to the fact that One Way Heroics is an amazing game. It is actually turn based, so you can plan out 3-4-10 moves ahead if you like. You unlock more classes/options/tricks with each run, and you can store some items in a vault for a later run when you beat the game. If you like Dungeon of Dredmor, One Way Heroics is definitely worth the grab. I grabbed it at full price a long time ago and I don't regret it.

It's been pretty fun but I just don't like the rush. I find I skip 75% of houses and dungeons because the darkness and it feels like the game is making me skip the content.
Dungeons of Dredmor is the better game if you want a turn-based RPG Roguelike imo.

Hey guys, I just thought I'd inform everyone that One Way Heroics is on sale for 87 cents. I think it's a rather rad game and that perhaps you guys would enjoy it, since it's one of those nice gems that are buried in tons of crap on steam. Also if you check this game out and you're turned off by stereotypical rpg-elements. It's cause this game is making fun of common videogame trophes in an ironic way. Also this game is rouge-like, so you go back to the beginning when you die. Have fun.
Edit: Also this game has a forced side-scrolling function. Similar to Faster Than Light in a way. A wave of darkness is coming from the left side of the screen and the game is always moving left. Meaning you're always on the move and attentive to your surroundings. Unlike FTL, if the darkness catches up to you, you instantly die. And go back to the beginning.
I also checked out the store page and found out this game has full gamepad support. Like. the effort that went into this game for 3.49, and is now .87 cents for this sale. Please, do yourself a favor and pick up this game. God knows you're going to buy tons of shitty games during this sale you're going to regret, some of which cost like $10 usd+, so at least do yourself a favor and grab a game you know you're not going to regret at an awesome price you're not going to regret. .87 usd guys, c'mon.
Edit 2: I saw this in the comments, so I figured i'd add it to give you even more incentive to buy this game that's PRACTICALLY FREE NOW - > "i think it should be mentioned this game has steam cards available for it too. looks like they are going for roughly 20 cents each. makes the deal even better."
