A question for people who make puzzles[Ended]

To avoid bots from entering for example.

I'm pretty sure that the answer is something related with potatoes...

All of my puzzles involve some sort of brainfuckery.

I would never make a puzzle about me, it would be too tall, dark and handsome.

Some people aren't very good at making puzzles, but they want one to be made, so they'll make a simple puzzle. best of both worlds, really.

Not sure there's just one answer. Some might use an easy quiz as an advanced Captcha system to weed out any bots. For others, it might be a small case of narcissism. And one does not preclude the other; some puzzle creators might be narcissistic and want to weed out any possible bots.

Because I've spent some time as a narcissist.

The narcissism reason is kinda funny and all, but in most cases I actually think it's more likely to do with trying to make closer connections with other users here perhaps...instead of just being another random name on the site...and of course as an anti-bot measure.

Maybe because themselves is the thing they better know
