Steam Market Problem

Hello Everybody,

So, I'm trying to sell (CS:G0 IDR Card) And it comes up with this error

how do i fix this You are not allowed to sell this item. The Community Market might be temporarily disabled or your account might be restricted from using the Community Market.

All help is appreciated.

Yeh, i have one from ages ago, But awhile ago, i was able to sell, why the change?

vac bans don't effect market but if you ever had a trade ban your locked out forever. not implying this is ops problem.

they could be doing an update or your steam was glitching. maybe restart steam or wait a bit then try again.

1) Did you buy anything from the Steam store?

2) Is your Steam Guard activated for at least 30 days?

3) Did you change or reset your password within the last 5 days?

if you've answered 1) or 2 with no or 3) with yes, then there's your problem.
You could have also checked the market FAQ.

Well, if you are eligible according to the Market FAQ (Section "Who is eligible to participate in the Community Market?") and you still can't trade stuff, you should contact Steam support.

I don't think that an in-game purchase counts as an account purchase, but the FAQ is not very detailed in regards to your question.

you need steam funds so i don't see why not. just adding to your wallet works. not sure if a wallet cards will unlock it though.

Just had a thought, are you trying to do it through your web browser or through Steam itself? Try the other one if one won't work and if you've already tried both then sorry for not being able to help further.

I think we have located the problem: his Steam purchase is not older than 30 days, so he needs to wait until he can use the market.
