You probably should have written full name in title.

And I'm guessing it's intentional - it's old game, they do lose their prices with time, usually when year changes it's number, sometimes also after Summer Sales.

updated name for fancy people
I get that they get cheaper as they are older, its very common, almost a rule, but why only in the US? thats what is weird here

Ahh, I thought you were talking just-about price drop.

No idea about region differences, maybe they don't give a f-ck about other regions paying more or maybe they decide it's supposed to go along with region releases - game had Friday release, so price drops on Friday too.

It's not a bug, it's a price drop in the base price of the game.

Gamefly's price drop page is useful in this regard

Some notable price drops this week:

  • Borderlands 2 - $20 (was $30)
  • Darksiders II - $30 (was $50)
  • The Bureau: XCOM Declassified - $30 (was $50, Steam hasn't adopted this price just yet)
  • Bioshock Infinite - $30 (was $40)

Sorry, I don't have the answer to that. Things can become complicated when it comes to regional pricing.

2K Games often charges higher for nearly every other region. Hell, Civ 5 still costs $69.99 USD in Australia (as it has been since its release).

Oddly enough, The Bureau is still $50 on Steam while the rest have dropped.

offtopic indeed, but I must know: what addon are you using that will show you the price for all the regions?

If you're on FF, that userscript is your only option (for now) anyway.
The above described feature is not included in FF version of Enhanced Steam.

^ For those who are confused, why ES does look different on Firefox and Chrome.

That userscript is not the only option:
Steam - Overall Enhancement

Sorry for the shameless self advertising. ^^

Edit:
Look at the RU price for the GOTY on the image OP linked. Compare it to the actual price in the RU store.
And then with the output of my script: Image

Ah snap, totally forgot about it.
And the worst part is, I've been using it since it popped up on userscripts.org
I've so many addons and userscripts, that I often forget what's installed. But that's actually a good sign, because if it works as supposed, you never have to bother with it or look up the FAQ or post bug reports - it stays in the background and does its work silently, so you often even forget the names. :P

Thanks for that useful script by the way :)

That's awesome! Nice work and thanks! :)

PS: You should put it in chrome store.
PPS: Do you mind if I modify it a bit? I want euro instead of usd at "ID & Price comparison".

Not sure what the problem is with the GOTY as it's still much cheaper.

$19.99 + $29.99 + $9.99 + $9.99 + $4.99 + $4.99 + $4.99 = $84.93

Base Game + Season Pass + Psycho Pack + Mechromancer Pack + Collector's Edition Pack + Creature Slaughterdome + Ultimate Vault Hunters Upgrade Pack

Not related to Borderland, but I find the EU price for Memoria buggy, but steam says that's not a bug... in Steam DB for comparison

Different countries can have different prices.

Usually it's EU1/EU2, but sure then can make germans pay twice for it :D
