Steam holiday sale

hi guys , I've read in the faq and in the site rules that the games you win by giveaways ..you should redeem in your library and never send as a gift to anyone . if so then what you win is yours only right ?

does that include people outside the SteamGifts community ? I mean the holiday sale is coming and you'll get the chance to win the games whatever you want by trading them with other people , last year there was a big trading group and everyone traded games
please someone inform me .. thanks

How would the people outside of Steamgifts win giveaways? Makes no sense.
