Hello everyone.

I feel like giving away Puppy Games keys should be disallowed, on the same basis as the Grimrock keys

When you apply to receive a steam key, in the email you receive it clearly states that...

"Please note this key is not for resale, not transferrable, nor refundable."

Much like Grimrock these steam keys are meant as an alternate way for you to access the game which you purchased from them directly (for $0.00, but still).

I hope we can all agree that what Puppy games has done is a great kindness, the least we can do is not exploit them or go against their intentions.

Thanks for reading!

i even don't understand why people are giving games which all can get for free?

Because they can.
What I don't get are the people entering the giveaways. On the other hand I myself haven't been able to get the site to work. I guess that would be a cause.

Because they can.
And because they can't take game for free (don't have reddit account, or missed puppygames birthday steam keys).

Submittable of these giveaway shows that people cant read, otherwise they would have seen, A. You were only allowed 1,one key/game and B. That any key received from said event was non-transferable.

People should be banned for submitting these keys as they took advantage of this companies generosity and probably also swiped many keys to go on to sell or trade these free keys they "stole".

*Yes I know its not "stealing" but its the same damn thing IMO.

Edit Shame the devs cant revoke keys that were abused...

It's not that they can't read, but more that they don't care. You shouldn't pirate games/movies/etc, but people still do.

I agree that these keys should be considered exploited.

IMO it would have been much more preferred if they did pirate it outright. At least then they devs wouldnt be obligated to give them support, NOR have to pay steam for the keys, AND/OR the bandwidth costs for the other two games. Just another example of greedy and entitled wankers spoiling everything. Have to take advantage of someone's kindness/generosity... its pathetic and sickening.

Agreed. It's just like the 1cent Humble Bundle. It's costing them more than they are making.
Unfortunately the devs aren't making anything now. At most they are gaining some publicity.

While im sure that was the thought behind this, im sure they would have gained a lot more publicity had everyone followed the rules and taken only 1 game. Im sure there is one or ten wankers that took a hundred copies and will instead sell them or trade them or even worse, claim them on an alt account which they will use to farm events...

Everyone that managed to get a key should at least send them a thank you mail or something. IMO anyway, but what do I know Im a cannibalistic bunny.

I don't ever actually sleep, just get groggy for a total of 8 hours intermittently throughout the day.

I get around to it.

Bleh, their great kindness is going unnoticed with their site being obliterated.

Thats because people werent just getting one key but 10 maybe 20 and just kept hammering site. I suspect there was a bot involved as well.

I am disgusted seeing people post 3 or more of these keys. I didn't get a steamkey in time and now they are completely out thanks to people like this.

In the same time cg should allow the raffles of puppies. At least that is my opinion. I would really love a puppy.
