Hey,

I just beat DarksidersII main story, still have the DLC dungeons to complete. I just wanted to say how awesome this game is, Vigil did a great job. I hope they continue creating darksiders games. The only thing that would make this game better is more polishing (de-bugging) and less DLC. There are some pretty amazing puzzles and epic battles / boss fights. They also set themselves up for a Darksiders3, so many things left unanswered.

What do you guys think of this game? Do you want Darksiders 3?

When I bought this game, I made the big mistake of buying ALL of the DLC. You cant use all of them because the weapons and armour are all set for level 5. So I activated a couple DLC, and didn’t activate other.

I would like to giveaway the DLC I didn’t use. I want to give them away to someone that recently bought the game and hasn’t started playing yet, so you can start using these items when you begin playing. Please only enter the giveaways if you intend to use the items.

I will give the items by email, so make sure your email address is up-to-date. I may add you if you’re online.

I’m creating the giveaways for forum users with a contributor value of $50. This is why you clicked the link, right?

Darksiders 2 DLC - Angel of Death Pack

Darksiders 2 DLC - Shadow of Death

Darksiders 2 DLC - Fletcher's Crow Hammer

Darksiders 2 DLC - Mace Maximus

Darksiders 2 DLC - Mortis

Future Giveaways, Without Contributor value once the above giveaways end:

Darksiders 2 DLC - Rusanov's Axe

Darksiders 2 DLC - Van der Schmash Hammer

I love both games. My fav is the second one, loved the rpg/loot elements, and the combat is better. It just felt a bit less polished towards the final dungeons, but still a great game.

Hope someone buys the IP, but i don't know, the future for the series is still uncertain... :/

I didn't like the idea of the rpg/loot elements when I first started playing Darksiders2, I guess I don't like change, but it quickly grew on me and I started to love it. It really adds an incentive to play NG+.

Most games feel better with some RPG elements ;)

Vigil will find it hard to make more Darksiders games as it wasn't bought by anyone after the THQ assets sale.
The core team was hired by Crytek though, so maybe we may end up with a Crysiders.

I want a Darksiders 4 with four player coop, sounds impossible to pull off though.

Haydn Dalton the lead designer of both games, said that they were already at work, developing a 4 players co-op for the third game. That's a shame it is never going to happen.

I totally agree. Darksiders II is awesome and deserved way more attention.

Like Darksiders 1, it was awesome aswell.

Thank you. I've got this one on my download queue and plan on playing it once I can get it installed. With 3 gamers in the house downloading things there is sometimes a wait:)

I don't know why but I prefer the first one for some reason :P

Maybe because do you prefer War to Death? :P

Would be a fair point, as they are really 2 different characters with different playstyles. Although for me the reason to prefer the first game is because I find the loot system in 2 has a tendency to break the gameplay flow at weird moments because you spend too much time picking which weapon you want to use. It's one of those cases where you can have too much variety.

Putting aside no one buying the rights to Darksiders, Vigil has stated that they won't be making any more Darksiders games. Which makes me cry.

lame! I was hoping someone bought it out, they are two very awesome games! I guess there technically could have been 2 more games for the other two horsemen.
