you can go with what I currently use that is- tracer reto trs 750m. I've bought them for like 10$. The design is quite nice, they have rather normal specs and the only downside is that sometimes after a longer usage your ears might hurt, but that doesn't apply to everyone.

Yeah, those are from their top line, but they also have cheaper offerings.
Around $20 it's mostly in-ear headphones, though...

If you really need a mic, then, $20 probably aren't enough to get a headset with a decent one...
You're better off buying a pair of mic-less headphones, and a cheap mic by itself.
Cheap microphones are always better than the ones on cheap headsets.

I dont know. I bought 20 $ headphones in store with decent microphone, but the was always dead after half or year, cause of cable.And on ebay they can be cheaper.

forgot about the ebay thing. if you're generally interested in this one - i found it on german ebay for less than 24€ with free shipping. maybe you'll find something similar in your ebay.

no idea, but it was the bestseller article on Amazon with very good user reviews. i don't think you should go for good brands with that price. in my experience the cheapest stuff from good brands is not always the best you can get for your money. they still sell their name, after all. you might be better off with a no-name product. i once bought the cheapest Sennheiser earphones for ~20€, and they were not that great. no really better than stock iphone earphones. and just nothing special for the price.

There is ONE thing to know: 99% of people don't need any particular headset. Buy whatever you find cheap and you like the design of.
Professional or particular headset are for...professional, the rest is marketing bullshit.
