GTA V on PC confirmed for like the millionth time

I heard it was over rated although for PC and mods I'd still get it. I have yet to play it, I sold my old gen consoles a while ago before the game came out.

Solution: get a PC and a console. Problem solved.

I haven't played the game (whenever a multi-console game is released - even if it's expected down the road - I almost always go for the PC version and play it via Steam's Big Screen if it handles better with a controller) but I think I lot of ideas and methods of gameplay (as well as the ability to stalk people in multiplayer =p) through console players off. I don't really blame gamers for this but Rockstar for not making certain aspects clear (although I don't know if this has changed with updates; I stopped watching live feeds a week or so after multiplayer went live).

Also I know there was a bit of speculation about this (I don't think based on any facts) that GTA Online might be released as a stand-alone, possibly F2P title (oh I guess it was the fact that it was called "GTA Online" instead of "GTAV Online"... heh well counting Japan-only releases we've already had 3 "Metal Gear Solid Online" experiences =p); but we don't even know if the MP will be ported over (does anyone else think they might release just the single player portion?) Either way, I'm happy knowing GFWL won't be packed in =).

Windows XP is supported? Really? I find that hard to believe.

Am I the only one who remembers that an Amazon Germany staff member claimed it would be announced just before Christmas? Wait for official confirmation, because believing retailers is just going to get you all disappointed. Am I saying this is false? No. But it's also not proof of anything whatsoever.

I'm sure the game will come out on pc at some point but the mockup webshop ads dont prove that imo..
There have been games in shops ads, even on pre order that never saw the light of day in the end.

Yea not too shocked that they will eventually get it on PC. I just hope it wont be a bad port... and of course perhaps the only DRM being Steam or something along those lines.. instead of having to deal with SecuRom or something along those lines.
