Dev revoked keys from
https://whosgamingnow.net/giveaway/megapack.php
sub name "Complimentary reviewer package" License packageID 302285 / 11.09.18
But if he plan in the future revoke keys that he sold, then it will be very bad, it will be again scam((

I think this was it for me. Got an alert today only, however. Activation was on 4 November 2018.
I don't know how they're able to revoke keys activated in 2018 due to a payment processing problem (it's what they state in the alert window), but it is what it is.

Just wondering, how did you find out the package that corresponds to this? All I got from the Steam notification was the name ("Complimentary reviewer package"), which isn't very specific... :s
Comment has been collapsed.
My point was: how do you know which key it was from the revocation message?
Unless by an extreme chance, he turned out to try that very key just as the dev revoked it a few hours before 🤔

Why are you doing this to me? ...
how do you know which key it was from the revocation message?
Comment has been collapsed.
Are you sure? It was revoked here too but I still have these games on my library.
Comment has been collapsed.
Maybe you got them from other keys: are you sure you still have all games and all DLCs? I still have most games, but I'm, for instance, missing many Athopiu DLCs
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah, you're right. Still have some games but some are missing

First time I had something revoked from my 1500 games. Not a huge loss though.

I tried to activate 2 keys for Rise of the Ancients from the DIG Super Bundle 65 today and both were dupes.
Additionally someone on the Steam Forums mentioned a problem with a key from some groupees bundle.

Indiegala fault
IndieGala has been provided with 10,000 keys for sale, out of which they successfully used around 2,300 of them.
The rest have been purged (banned), since they have not been reported as sold. We were unaware that these keys have been used. We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
If a sale did occur, I was not notified of this and they may be subject to contract infringement on their part.
We apologize for this inconvenience.

that's a blatant lie
here's what Indiegala's admin has to say
https://forums.indiegala.com/threads/game-from-bundle-removed-from-my-steam-account.2296/#post-15140
Hi. thank you for your feedback.
Obviously this is not true, we have already contacted the dev and ask clarification.
Obviously we paid for this deal in full, as we always do with thousands of devs we have been dealing with since 2011.
This is not the first case, ( and not only on Indiegala ) of a dev voiding an entire batch of keys for no reason. ( or for reasons apparently unknown )
Few things to clarify here:
We will try to fix this with the dev, as said, of course asking for new keys for affected users but this does not depend from us as you can imagine and can be a slow process.
But since we care about indiegala users, meanwhile each affected user who bought that indiegala bundle will receive a proportional compensation in galacredit that can be spent on our store to buy anything.

2 different points of view.
We will never know who is lying
Comment has been collapsed.
if you copy not revoked, maybe the dev say the truth and IG sold copies for his profit

POV generally implies some agreed-upon central premise where each party perceives those events differently and arrives at alternative interpretations.
Lacking such nuance, here we've just got at least one party who's instead what's normally regarded as... a total fucking liar.
And given the behavior/meltdown/ban seen on the game forum, I'd say that's almost certainly the developer.. which is almost always the case in my long-time focusing on these events.
The whole truth (or extent of lies) could be unknowable, but for now there's certainly a number of supporting details which can easily be proven by a party genuinely interested in the truth coming out.
[That would be a contrast to the usual revoking-devs who are obvious scumbags attempting to hide behind a smokescreen of ambiguity and complicated relationship among steam/indiegala/dev/customer whether they consider themselves unaccountable for the willful tort in destroying the property they sold through an intermediary and presume purchasers stupid enough to blame the one they bought it from and not the party who wandered along later (one who happened to own it at one point) and smashed it like a child due to some other dispute.]
For example, while IG claims no communication, that's super easy for the developer to refute.
[Unless not disputed, and somehow the developers first resort was such a volatile measure of absolute last-resort that it still deserves the upmost scrutiny even in those incredibly rare situations that might be justified and present some validation for Valve allowing such obscene technological control over products long after the point of sale. Cause in the case they DIDN'T even reach out, it's beyond obvious the blame lies with the developer abusing Valve's procedures to destroy the property they know to be legally purchased already and in the hands of by third-parties who were acting in good faith transactions to legally purchase the very property that dev supplied and approved for sale. No matter their own disputes with their chosen middleman.]
The developer could just provide some of the many communications they surely conducted with IG trying to resolve their issues with the party they actually contracted with and claim grievances against. After all, there must be numerous communication breakdowns to display before any reasonable party would even consider such an incredibly drastic step like abusing Valve's revocation process to resolve their own internal business dispute at the expense of good-faith customers.
Now, that wouldn't justify why they abandoned the legally appropriate procedures for remedy (like literally every normal industry has to do with distributor-supplier disagreements), but at the bare minimum it helps show that their basic claims of fact aren't the absolute horseshit excuses they seem like for just doing whatever they want because you can't stop them.
If the devs were indeed being ghosted, then naturally there'd be no communication breakdowns show but surely they've got even more evidence of attempted contact from the many moire broad attempts at contract across any/all channels like any genuinely reasonable party would try before ever daring to risk an act of blatant fraud and burden their own frustrations and business complications on the least-responsible party who was merely acting in good-faith by purchasing exactly what those developers provided from whom they supplied it to at whatever terms they agreed upon, when all that information and any complications are so obviously beyond a customer's reasonable purview....
Comment has been collapsed.
Note: those are fairly generic circumstances for any situation of a bundle revoke even. Here where the developer is also calling people hate-mongers, banning critics, and threatening forum-posters with legal action..... I don't know if that level of scrutiny really matters so much.
Comment has been collapsed.
we know who's lying.. Indie gala who deal with thousands of Developers and publishers and have almost no issue, or the scumtastic Devs who pop up every once in a while after they disable or invalidate thousands of purchased keys and try to pass the buck..
His actions along with the other ahole devs who disable and invalidate keys and then act like holes after the fact happens nearly 99% of the time.. Either the person is too stupid to have invalidated the proper keys, or they are flat out lying about being any payment issue.. especially in the case of Indie Gala which has been around forever.. This isn't a case of IndieRoyal, or Otakubundle, this is a bundle site that has been open for how many years now,.

Thanks for the info.
Published by a other account or a other person ?
In some way it must be connected to the banned owner/dev/publisher of the games and it is very unclear if the old owner revoked the keys or the new one.
So all in all unclear which guys have the finger in behind the curtain.
And to be honest when i read that a csgo skin site have the rights now it don't raise my trust.

If you want my text exactly to copy it with maybe changed time when your package were activated:.
The dev revoked a lot of "Complimentary reviewer package", in my case from 2018, because of some sort of payment problem.

In my eyes fraud.
I wrote to a few people that name shady devs and their "games", better call it "products", collect infos, look at the people behind companies and connections of them to other devs/publishers/shady companies -that often are opened/registered at the same people-.
On top of it i wrote a negative review [cant copy the link because it will seen as advertising or?] and tried to do a negative review in my curation but that was not possible.
I am sure he will not like the attention that he gets from my side.
EDIT: Was able now to do the, negative, curation review.

it's a mess. as long as I understand there were 3 Complimentary package from the dev, one with Anthopiu full and two with Anthopiu and many other poor games. I think the first one removed was one of the big and the last is Anthopiu, because I checked a few weeks ago when i got the warning and all games were missing, not just anthopiu. so this basically means they removed a game from our library after already removed it two weeks ago! 🤣 when they want they can be very efficient, nothing to say!
But I maybe wrong, I don't even know why I took those games..
Comment has been collapsed.
Yes, its very bad that banned devs can do such stuff.
Complete uninteresting for which game, they should not be able to touch/manipulate the keys that made at/with/from steam. Special because a lot of the devs that got banned not are banned because of the nicests actions they have done before that.

Same thing happened to me, I just saw this "Complimentary reviewer package" removal account notice this morning. A shady, shitty thing for the dev to do but at least nothing of "value" was lost I suppose, lol.
Thanks for mentioning this here stlpaul, because I had no idea what was revoked since the message was so vague and I came straight to this thread and found the answer quickly. It would have really bugged me otherwise.

Another just revoked from my account. I activated it in August 2018:

The devs probably voided all keys that weren't activated. That bundle is from 2016.

DUPED:
The Silent Age from Bundle Stars: Killer Bundle 4. Similar experience on Steam forums regarding the same bundle.
The Silent Age from HRK: Make A Bundle.
WORKED:
The Silent Age from IndieGala Hump Day #12.
Surprised by the one from Bundle Stars/Fanatical as their keys have proven to be very reliable for me in the past, even after many years.
Comment has been collapsed.
Silent Age isn't being sold on Fanatical anymore so the devs or publisher probably voided any keys that weren't activated. Since it's not being sold on the store they more than likely won't be able to give you a replacement key.
Comment has been collapsed.
So that means I'm going to have to go through all of my spare keys, cross-reference which were bought from which bundles, check which of those bundle outlets still sell that specific game on their store, before creating a giveaway in order to not risk giving someone a duped key 🤣

My key from Bunch Keys Bundle #32: Gaming Whirlwind still worked.

Got an alert earlier: Jul 25, 2018 Complimentary reviewer package
Anyone get the same message and have any idea as to what it may be?
Comment has been collapsed.
At some point I think I counted around 250 similar packages, they were allocated in various giveaways.
I don't know if package spam is a way for the devs to generate more keys that they are allowed to, but with this developer it's certainly something fishy.
https://steamdb.info/app/603770/subs/ - all of the have pretty much the same content.

Thanks for the info. Not like I'll miss any of that lol.

Apparently this problem goes back a couple of years, and the dev has done nothing to fix it. Just blames IndieGala for what he's done.

I had an IndieGala key (Hump Day 23) that was duped for 35MM. The dev replaced it for me without issue, though it took me a while to get in touch with him. I don't know if keys from other bundles were affected.
Comment has been collapsed.
It would be good to know the source of your keys, so I can add them to the table.
If they're from giveaways or from Russian key sellers, then it's no wonder that they have been invalidated - these kind of things happen very often when bought via Russian stores.
Comment has been collapsed.
I've bought them from Steamgrounds. com "Build a bundle" 2 years ago.
The keys I used at the time were good but then I took a break of steam for 2 years and discovered most of those unused keys were duplicate when I try to use myself or gift//trade.

I just discovered a duped key for Sniper Fodder (https://store.steampowered.com/app/880840/Sniper_Fodder/) from Indiegala Friday Special 70 (July 2018). I didn't find mention of it searching this site, and ITAD? reports it was in 4 bundles total:
Build a Mega Itch.io Bundle by Groupees
Build a Bundle 44 by Groupees
Otaku Bundle #31 by OtakuBundle
Friday Special Bundle #70 by Indie Gala
Haven't contacted the dev or gala yet, but I read lots of Otaku bundles had shenanigans.

Lists to use:
Unused Keys Revoked: https://barter.vg/notices/513
Revoked (Dev): https://barter.vg/notices/362
Revoked (DMCA): https://barter.vg/notices/361
Duplicates: https://barter.vg/notices/372
If you want this information for one game specifically, you can find it under the "Notices" section for the Barter entry of that game.
(Example: https://barter.vg/i/42708/ then scroll down to "Notices": you'll see the red notice "Revoked (Dev) ⌫"; mouseovering it will give you some more info)
Thanks to everyone who reported their key revocations here. Please continue reporting them here. You folks are awesome!
Due to character limit, time constraints and having to manually create the chart rows, it's very difficult to keep a list on revocations on SteamGifts. Since I am the one managing these notices on Barter anyway, I thought it would be convenient to centralize the reports from SteamGifts and trade offers into one place and Barter proved to be a good solution for that because of its bundles and game database.
The below lists will not be updated on SG any more, but all your reports will be reflected on Barter, so please continue reporting them.
Previous links, for reference:
A list of games completely revoked from your library after activation
A list of games whose unredeemed keys were revoked (the big chart that was previously in this thread was moved here)
More games with invalidated keys can be found here.
