SeaBed would be my recommendation but warning, it's a lot of reading.
There is also The Shadows of Pygmalion, Haven, Highway Blossoms, Paradise Killer can be a little gay but it's mostly a murder mystery I enjoyed.

I just removed you from my whitelist... just so I could whitelist you again.
How is that for divisive content? ;)
Since we are here to talk about gaymes, I must say I didn't even know No Longer Home existed but it's definitely on my wishlist now.
I will have to check for actual recommendations but Night Cascades was one I really enjoyed when I played it earlier this year and I'm not usually into VN
(stay excellent)

You will never leave my WL, buddy. You're a lifer ;)
The visual style in NC looks pretty nice!
It really is what attracted me to it when I played the demo. Then my gf bought it and I took the chance to play it. The gameplay and writing is also pretty good.

If you're looking for romance, a distinctive visual style and the 80s... may I direct your gaze here A Summer's End - Hong Kong 1986

I missed this as well, omg! That's another thing to add to my list of games I'm looking forward to. Thanks for sharing the good news! :D

It's a pretty old game by this point, and it has its own little issues with certain paths (oh boy), but Hustle Cat was a game I really enjoyed
Highway Blossoms was great. I'm not super into VNs but it had nice character-character interactions, good environments, engaging story... I'm a sucker for a roadtrip story.
Normal Lost Phone and Another Lost Phone: Laura's Story has some nice investigation to do

Those are the ones I can say from the top of my hand. I also heartfeltly recommend checking games in itch.io , as I feel the indie market thrives more over there :)

VA11 HallA (aka Valhalla) is a lot of fun, and quite cozy at least half of the time.
I played a bit with this and I seriously need to return to it. Such a little moody game about the importance of everyday little nothings. Its soundtrack is also incredible, I listen to it every now and then while working :)

Oh oh then I also recommend arcadekitten's stuff! It is various degrees of cozy and various degrees of vn, very very lgtb+ :)

Replying here since you mentioned Va11Halla and no one else has mentioned it: Coffee Talk is like its less sci-fi cousin. Equally cozy and heartfelt and it has an excellent sequel as well ^^

By the way, it's a straight up VN but very cozy so I also recommend Cross Princess.

Most of my recommendations for LGBTQ+ games are indeed VNs, but hopefully there'll be at least one that you find intriguing.
A Tavern for Tea is a pretty short and chill one.
Bad End Theater admittedly isn't quite cozy but I played it recently almost all in one sitting and had a ton of fun with it.
Calico, if you haven't played it yet, isn't anything super groundbreaking, but it's still a nice, calm time.
Sticky Business ended up being a big comfort game for me this year. Very fun if you like working your creative muscles.
If found is on the sadder side, but I thought it had a really nice story and the way it's presented is really neat imo.
Also thank you for reminding me of Queer Man Peering Into A Rock Pool.jpg! <3 Saw it earlier this year and was thinking about buying it then completely forgot lol

Glad to hear that. I came to this thread to recommend Calico! :D
I won it a few weeks ago on SG, completed it recently and now I recommend it left and right! Obviously, it had the LGBT+ vibe, but there was a lot more on top of that:story, fun characters, animals, interesting mechanics, I'd even say some "plot twists", overall cuteness everywhere ...

Here Comes Niko! is quite a cute and fun little platformer.
Secret Little Haven would probably fall under VN, but i quite enjoyed the story, maybe you will too :)

I'm guessing you've played If Found?
You may also like Florence, it's not LGBTQ+ but it's still got that vibe you're going for.

Dont know if I would classify it as good writing because its not very deep or advanced story. But its a cute short story and I really liked it because is also has voice acting.
Funny enough I had to read my review after I answered you before I hit reply and this is what I wrote:
Awwww, thats cute.
Short and sweet story with great voice acting.

Very cute, wholesome and cozy, but also very sad, dark and heart-wrenching (especially if the content resonates with you).

They're cute like muppets. The bugsnax effect on them is amusing. They have interesting relationships with each other. A diverse group of personalities. I don't want to give any spoilers, finding out things about them was part of the fun.

Orgynizer - It's not exactly "cozy," but if you enjoy puzzle games, perhaps you'll find it interesting.
I thought about recommending Strawberry Vinegar, and then I realized that you already own it. It doesn't have the "cozy" tag, but it should. The gorgeous artwork is what initially attracted me to that game. Actually, I still need to finish playing through it... somehow I got distracted and never finished it.

Hold up, before you report me for my very misleading title; I do have games to give away here, and I do want recommendations.
I've been in such a gaming rut this year, nothing seems to capture my interest for a full playthrough anymore. Unless it's something cozy with LGBTQ+-tag. I really loved Life is Strange: True Colors (sorry for the region-locks, blame GMG), and I think everyone should have a Steph in their lives.
And No Longer Home was short and cute.
Just bought myself Queer Man Peering Into A Rock Pool.jpg and Terranova, does anyone else have any recommendations? I feel like it's mostly VNs that has this tag, and I think I'm just overly picky when it comes to that specific genre.
Happy gayming!
(I'll be sure to check out your recommendations, and hopefully it's also a good way for others to find new games too!)
For fun and giggles, I noticed my pack of toothbrushes had some sensitivity to them.
