Hello folks! Just wondering what games you all might suggest that run well on laptops!

A little background here, I love to play in windowed mode while watching some youtubes or something on the side. I've gone through WoW, SWTOR, Bastion, Civ5, Minecraft, Terraria, Binding of Isaac, and even Skyrim (with low texture pack! but the mouse is really really slow when windowed).

So... what all kinds of stuff can I get going on this thing?

it's not bad really... just has an integrated "intel hd graphics", but it can handle stuff like swtor with no glitches. stuff like saints row 3 on low don't run very well at all though.

I don't know your exact PC specs, but I'm also running off of intel hd graphics and I will say that I can run just about everything in same facet if I adjust the settings correctly. Normally resolution and anti-aliasing improves the frame rate for me (20 fps more when I lower resolution while playing Just Cause 2, making it playable :D)

This.

Some people can run Crysis on high on their laptops.

Some people can't run Solitaire without lagging.

for some reason king's bounty did not like my laptop... it did fine for a little bit, but then my regular mouse showed up on the screen so it was distracting having 2 mouse pointers moving at different speeds! lol!

Any of Spiderweb Software's games. Especially their Geneforge games. Those are really good for laptops since they don't require fast action. I think the whole Geneforge series is on sale in the Indie Royale; you might wanna check that out.

I was about to post TM. It's optimized to run on basically all sorts of system, offering a stable framerate for low-end PCs and 196x antialiasing for high-end PCs.

Minecraft requires a lot of CPU and can actually lag on lower-end systems.

I'd say Dungeons of Dredmor. This one could be called the rogue-like with the best graphics :D
It's a non-storydriven rogue-like, which means that it is turnbased and you dont have to worry to miss something from the story if you do other things meanwhile.

Orcs Must Die or Legend of Grimrock work on laptops too and are great games to play while doing something else.

Oh, and World of Tanks for sure.

No idea what World of Tanks is. The rest are good choices. Add Super Meat Boy.

Frozen Synapse

Defense Grid:Awakening

Portal 2

Orc Must Die

Q.U.B.E

Terraria

Dota 2( But you wouldn't want to watch videos at the same time because there is no time for that)

All these games I played on my laptop with minimal issue(except Frozen Synapse, dont own it, but I know for sure it will run on it.). I have the same graphics card as you. Also, and these games are top notch.

I can play almost any game on mine, the only problem is when there are keys bound to the numpad...which my laptop keyboard doesn't have,

I downloaded AutoHotkey and wrote a script which binds the regular number buttons to numpad buttons.
