You can send the key via email. When the winner is chosen, their email will be visible for you.

I sent an email but it just feels impersonal. More impersonal than sending a key over the internet already is.

with keys that's not really a good move if u by any case don't have spare key of game u giving away :)
there is a chance that winner used it but didn't mark yet...
p.s. but 1 hour isn't the thing u need to worry about, maybe winner is just sleeping or smth

If you are giving out keys then make sure to add the winner and then give him the key directly through steam chat, or else using the email method might be risky. And if the winner of your giveaway doesn't accept your friend request / the key within 7 days, then you can reroll the giveaway and you'll get a new winner.

You can't ask for a reroll as you allready game the key in an email, so you can't know if the key will be unused...

I looked at the guide and it doesn't really clearly cover keys, I have keys for the giveaways I just made, I assume I'm just supposed to add the people and send them the key via steam chat. My main question is what if they don't log in for a while or they don't accept my friend request?
