Nuuvem is a brazilian store. They always divide keys between South America (with better prices for us) and the rest. Not sure why they separated Europe in this case though. Probably because the publishers asked.

It seems to be that you can buy it from any region but the key you personally receive is only for your region since it's saying I can activate it only in L.A.

It won't let ypu proceed with a V{N either. If your payment method doesn't match the region you're detected as the orde will just be cancelled.

I will never use VPN with Steam, but buying from keysellers sites is completely different story & Valve don't care about that if I activate ROW key.

if the key is row , but if the merchant indicates a regional restriction it usually mean a restriction on the key activation itself

Needs confirmation, but I think the key should be ROW regardless of what the page says...there is no region restricted package on steamdb for this game.
Since the deal is valid for 14 days I'm going to wait for the monthly reveals before I try it myself though :3

They do this with almost all the games, when you're trying to buy from them and you're in germany

I think it's reasonable to think they made these changes because the publishers they work with demanded it from them. Nuuvem is first of all a brazilian reseller made for our regional market, so when they didn't have regional pricing or region restrictions, it was highly anti-competitive.

It's also included in Origin access basic subscription, might be an option for some people. It's cheaper for a month of subscription than the price of this discount alone, and you get lots of other games while you are subscribed.

Seems you cannot use VPN since it will check billing adres of PayPal or something. Everything seems to work until the final step after payment, where Nuuvem is validating the transaction... 😭

Did you disconnect the VPN before going to Paypal? That's how it works, when buying something with VPN. Paypal really doesn't handle VPN very well.

It doesn't matter apparently. If I disconnect before clicking the checkout button Nuuvem will tell me the game is not available in my country. When I disable VPN when the Paypal login screen is shown, I can perform the payment via Paypal but upon returning to Nuuvem the validation will run and a message will pop-up: "Operation canceled. At least one product in your cart is not available for purchase in your region.". This is the same if I leave VPN on the entire time.

I only shopped there once for some freebie in which case VPN worked just fine. But If their validation is that strict, you probably just need someone who could buy it for you?

Back in the day Nuuvem was region locked for buying games, based on your IP.
But it seems nowadays for some games (i.e. this one), the payment processor is what determines the region you are in, not your IP, and locks it accordingly.

I'd like to know that too. I'm from Canada and I wonder if someone from South America, Europe and the UK could activate the game if I bought the key. That said... if that's the case, I can see Nuuvem not letting people purchase more than "x" keys.

Yeah, no problem! Creating multiple accounts isn't too difficult, if you had a friend who wanted it. You could even use their email for the account or their existing account.

I used the same PayPal account for both payments. I was expecting it to be rejected (to be honest), but it didn't.
