So i got burned with the cyberpunk bundle last week and told myself not to preorder on groupees anymore, well with a great game on n64, people made assumptions it could be turok, the great game turned out to be shadowman, and all games were repeats for me..

Anyway awhile ago i made a thread about my father who had bladder cancer and he overcome it, and that part is still clean however today he got news there were bad cells found in his urine, so now he has to wait for a ct scan, and well whatever comes out of that, could be kidneys and if in an early stage could be very well treated, i appreciate if people could sent some good vibes, thank you.

My father had some cancer diagnosed too a couple of years ago. They were detected early on and were removed without major complications or severe long time effects.

That's good to hear, can i ask where?

Really a crap shoot, some are just so easy to get rid of, while others not so, but atleast maybe we are blessed we live in an age the technology is far more ahead then a few decades ago.

Not sure about your "where" ;)
Where was the hospital: Germany.
Where were the cancers: kidney, intestine, pancreas.

Meant the cancer places yeah.

Germany got good hospitals i believe, some even prefer going there then here (not that they are bad here).
Can't find much on google (but perhaps in such situations you don't want to) but it looks like it might be his kidneys too (which has a high cure chance luckily).

Best wishes. I wish there'd be something more helpful to say, especially as my family is in a similar situation (though no cancer) and would benefit too if there were words that would make a real difference.

Well maybe not the words itself, but i believe in a staying positivity (which can be increased by words) can sometimes help, but in the end maybe we don't really have control over such things.

Eitherway wish your family the best too.

It affects so many people. I often wonder if cancer rates have increased dramatically because we are living longer and exposed to electrical devices, food additives, pollution etc. or if it was just misdiagnosed or not diagnosed as often in the past. Will be thinking of you and your Father, Lugum. Best wishes.

It's probably a little of both, assumingly 1 on 5 experience a form of cancer (so those are some high odds) but for sure medical technology wasn't so advanced a few decades ago (then again we could fly to the moon with 1969 and the computers they had then). ;p

Thank you.
