That's exactly why they cancelled it. You guys should have been quiet about that sh$t.

Why? Maybe some kid will get so angry over being owned on his pathetic console, that he'll kill himself. No more 12 years in online games = win for everyone.

It's a good thing because the PC version will be optimized way better, with more updates. Since devs have to pay shitloads of money to release patches on consoles they heavily limit the amount of fixes. While PC gets updates free and directly through Steam.

Listen to CS 1.6 pro's feedback and you'll make an awesome game. Listen to some f***tards from CS: S and you'll get a game that fosho will have few players :)

listen to the css players and valve will have a game guaranteed to sell well to a huge number of players (especially on consoles). OR listen to 1.6 feedback and make a more focused game that will have LIMITED appeal to a more hardcore base (which pretty much excludes attracting a big console audience). HMMMM wonder which way valve... being a COMPANY and not a non-profit organisation, may i remind you... will decide to go.

valve will be listening wholeheartedly to the css gamers who represent modern mainstream gaming. better get used to it.

Fucking look at WCG 2011 that had closed out CS: S tournament and CS 1.6 it's still living with a pretty good prize money. Also, think about that CS 1.6 and 1.5 are around for about 11 years and the last version(1.6) it's still a pretty good choice for tournaments to go for. Look at CS 1.6 CeBIT 2012 final, at that time Starcraft 2 had fewer viewers than CS 1.6 :). So, it's still a good choice for Valve to listen to 1.6 pro's, they are around for some years and now how to make a game that should be around for many years :)

They should treated me like they treated azzholio pro traders . I would never say anything if they gave betas to random people DIRECTLY to their LIBRARIES. They gave most of betas to people who make profits, dolars, skyrims etc. And now they are telling they will make an open beta. No frakkin way.

Casual players who will be potential customers and 2500+ hours cs players who CAN MAKE FEEDBACKS to devs must be in close beta not that stup1d trader hoes. PRO TRADER MY ARS3

Valve still makes profit of these betas. Since 80% of people, who receive extra invites trade it for another game from Steam store.

They said this many times.
"Everyone will eventually get a chance to get their very own #CSGO Beta key - don't trust dodgy websites & don't waste your money buying one!"
The thing is, for those who are intrested in playing the game and not trading the beta, you don't know when "EVENTUALLY" is.
