I just recently joined and im just wondering, what are some big changes that happened? and what kind of stuff happened in the past?

The search feature was WAYYY slower in the past. Now it loads within a split second. The site in general is a lot more responsive and snappier. The old site looked a bit uglier, the web design has been redone. I still have some stuff to figure out as you might have guessed but this far i've seen very positive changes! So far i'm liking the new experience :)

Welcome back! Steamgifts just got to V2 not too long ago, so lots of shiny new stuff indeed.
Here's a quick run-through of the new features.
Whitelist
You can now add Steamgifts users to your personal whitelist. This allows these users to enter "whitelist giveaways".
Blacklist
Same as the whitelist, except that adding users to the blacklist will block them from entering any giveaway you create.
Multiple group giveaways
You may now create a giveaway for multiple groups at the same times, plus your whitelist.
Comment formatting V2
A few new features have been added to formatting. See the comment formatting FAQ.
Browse giveaways by Group and Wishlist
On the main page, you can see on the left side of the window a few selections. You can view all the currently open group and whitelist giveaways that you can enter, same with wishlisted giveaways.
Forum categories
New categories including All, Announcements, Bugs / Suggestions, Deals, General Gaming, Group Recruitment, Let's Play Together, Off-Topic, Puzzles, and Uncategorized. You can also view your created discussions.
...And there are many other new features, but I guess you'll figure them out by your own. :)

Hey everyone!
So last time i visited steamgifts.com was like half a year ago. Since then i've gotten into trading and forgot about this site. Now i've returned and everything has changed. Site is a lot more responsive and snappier which is great! But there's a lot of stuff added and changed as well. Now we have levels? A brief look at FAQ didn't explain how do increase your level or why does it matter. I'm guessing it's increased by creating giveaways? Also now there's a trade feedback page?
I'm in need of assistance to learn this redone site. Everything is so new and shiny! Can anyone help me get back into steamgifts and help me navigate and use the site again?
