Will you read Sword Art Online 1: Aincrad?
If you haven't played them already, you should try the .Hack games on PS2. Sword Art Onlines story is extremely similar to them.
Also, Log Horizon is another anime that came out later that has the same overall premise.

Edited: I remember now, I watched 1 episode of Log Horizon and dropped it, it didn't captivate me.
