Bug: Darkness II

Hello guys, i recenttly bought darkness II for PC (obviously), and i found a bug in the freakshow level. after going into the tunnel when the lights went on and you gotta see for the generator, you have to open an elecrtical box but when i press Q and then E it doesn't work, it's like it doesn't caluclate the E, so i trid to interact with a box of bullets and it worked but not for the electrical box. Please help me, i can't find any solution yet and i don't want to do the game all over again.

I had the same problem (trying to open the garage door), I had to load the last checkpoint

trust me i tried everything: loading checkpoint, macros, editing game files, using hacks like noclip but nothing.

sounds weird, but whats the specs on your computer. i had a bunch of bugs that did not let me continue with darkness 2, homefront, and a few others, before i finally built myself a new pc.

Perhaps you missed a step in the game somewhere that was needed to make that work. You could try checking out a walk through to see if that's the case. Other than that, I've got nothing. Good luck on figuring this out.
