Wait Do I really have to...

So I wanted to harvest the Dota 2 cards right. I heard that you have to make a $9 USD purchase to get a card or have Premium DLC.
I have Premium DLC but I was just idling Dota 2 for like an hour and I dont have anything.

Could someone help me or do I have to do a in-game purchase.

in-game purchase = Premium

Premium DLC = nothing

Trade cards from other games or buy the cards directly, purchasing 9$ for one card seems very unpractical to me.

You only get Dota 2 card drops if you bought something in the store BEFORE the trading card beta.

Otherwise, you get 1 card for every $9 spent.

You are playing a free 2 play game without purchasing any items, which is fine, but don't demand sellable items in return for that
