yikes! I would say buy a motherboard and a processor. I think the E5800 was a 775 socket maybe? look into sandy or ivy bridge processors for the 1155 socket motherboards. A quad core 775 socket processor is going to be a ridiculous price for outdated technology.

Ideally you could afford to wait for one and a half or two years. Then you could buy a PC that would be strong enough to last the entire console generation at a fair price. Right now your CPU is the most outdated but if you change it you will also need to change motherboard, RAM and maybe more.
