I'm trying to understand how much the game "They Bleed Pixels" in terms of other games or CS:GO Keys and why.

I'm interested to know witch of these games worth "They Bleed Pixels"

  1. Don't starve together
  2. Dead Cells
  3. Heroine Anthem Zero
  4. Titan Souls
  5. Owlboy
  6. Hollow Knight

Titan Souls is the closest by far, because both have been in the $1 tier of a Humble Bundle.

Download Enhanced Steam. You can check bundle history for games on their Steam Store page; it will tell you how often a game has been bundled, and if you click the info, it will lead you to more info about which bundle and tier a game was in.

But, yes, Titan Souls seems the closest to me, too.

I don't do a lot of trading and I haven't made a lot of trades but I've talked to plenty of people. From my understanding of things..

Don't Starve Together, Dead Cells, Hollow Knight and Hero Anthem Zero have never been bundled before and Owl Boy is a tier 3 bundle game.

Titan Souls is only game on that list even close to They Bleed Pixels and that's because they are both tier 1 bundle games.

If you are looking to trade games on Steamtrades these are things that matter.
Is it a gift link or key? Most people are looking for gift links. More secure and often times people like to retrade.

Being bundled or not matters. If it was bundled before you probably aren't going to be getting an unbundled game for trade unless your game has high value like a tier 3 or a big monthly bundle game. How many times it was bundled and the tier matter. Where it was bundled matters as well. Humble is looked at as the top site for bundled games and they offer gift links.

Not everyone but a good amount of people seem to value games off of what they sell for on the grey market sites like G2A.

You provided with so much info but im still a bit confused.

What do you mean by tier and bundled? Im guessing bundled is the monthly bundle or the normal bundle.

Ah i see. I kinda see it as a waste though..retarding something you traded..I know its a market thing to recive what you want in the long run and some people just like the trade part but still..

Bundled or not...I was suggested to get enhanced steam for that matter. Will it help?

Imo Enhanced steam is a MUST for trading if your don't keep track of games getting bundled in other sites. It will show you the lowest recorded price in steam and also how many times the game got bundled into different sites. Traders always take the lowest price as the price of the game.

Example no1: Game got bundled with other 5 games for $1, don't expect the game to go for more than $0.2 (It'll go higher over time).
Example no2: Game never got bundled, lowest recorded on steam is 5$, that'll be probably the trade value for it.

Bundled as in the game was involved in a bundle. It was packaged with other games and sold for a price. There's different tiers for bundles depending on the bundle..

Here's a bundle with 3 tiers.

Here's a bundle with 2 tiers

Titan Souls. I think They Bleed Pixels was in a humble tier 1, but it doesn't really matter much as it's way past it - bundling doesn't really matter much if there aren't many cheap keys around.
Also it's 2,5$ on basically any sale ; I would take this sum as it's value

Sorry, I think it's the best for you if you learn to use these features - it's not hard.
Search for both games here: https://isthereanydeal.com/ if you click on the "bundle" text at the end of a row, you can see the exact components of the bundle and other info. It will help you a lot if you leanr how to use isthereanydeal / enhanced steam, but if you still have trouble, feel free to ask. ( they bleed pixels was in bundle at mid-may, 2017)

As FateOfOne said, check G2A or any other grey market to compare prices with the rest of those games. For example, "They Bleed Pixels" costs $0.64 right now in G2A.

Soo basically i need to compare my game from G2A prices to trade it with others?? Thats just weird.

Why is that weird ? You want to get rid of your They Bleed Pixels ...so you have to find someone who wants it

Why should someone give you more as he has to give? So why get it from you for 1-2$ (if a game or money doesnt matter)
if he can get it with less risk also in a shop for only 0.50 $

If two shops are next to each other and one shop wants 2$ for a drink
and the other wants for the same only 1$ ... then it is probably clear where you go shopping^^

The only reason why some things in the trade area are more expensive than in shops and people still buy it
Wallet is not Realmoney .... keep that always in mind =)
Somepeople also have no Paypal or other stuff to buy from store (many many reason why some dont do it)
or simply do not want to spend real money ....which leads to that they overpay for a product(game) that they could actually have gotten cheaper

In the end you can get everything for everything, if you have patience and enough time and you find the right people

There are also people who trade games based on their store prices that means for example an 9,99$ for a 9,99$ completely independent of trade value

You make a very valid and good point. I wanted to value the game depending on its reviews and such though.

Not at all, that's what supply and demand means. Grey market prices are the most significant because they reflect the demand in almost real time.

Ok so basically that website post how much it cost from the demand of the game and from this you know how much its worth?

Idk man id rather looks up to steam and value it by Rating and such. Sadly I guess I'll rely on G2A then.

No, the sellers set the price according to supply and demand; if there are many keys in the market and low demand (this case) the price will be low. Search "supply and demand" in google to understand what I'm trying to explain.

Rating doesn't mean anything, you can find games with +90% rating in Steam for less than $1 in the grey market.

Those grey markets can also be manipulated. Not everyone uses those prices.

But yeah the ratings matter very little to someone using the prices off the grey market.

That's a nonsense. The sellers are people like you and me, if they could sell that game for $10 they'll set that price instead. But the law of supply and demand always determines the price.

You can ask the price you want for a game, but if it's cheaper in the grey market then you could only sell it for that price to some poor uninformed because nobody will pay more if they can buy it cheaper there. Check this comment (the drink example).

It's not nonsense. While there are normal every day people who use those sites there's other people as well. If you don't think there's people and groups who manipulate the prices you're sadly mistaken. If you use those sites well, best of luck to you. And once again, not everyone uses those prices to trade.

Manipulate the prices for what reason exactly? So you are trying to tell me there are sellers setting low prices on purpose in order to earn less money? Come on...

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

When I first entered steamtrades someone explained a lot of it to me. I don't recall everything because it was awhile ago but there seemed to be a lot to it. And low price doesn't mean they aren't earning profit or other things.

So you forgot the reason and you're still trying to argue against the evidence of the law of supply and demand? Come on...

Also, Steamtrades is full of scammers trying to make money from novices, so the grey market harms them, that's why they attack it with arguments without sense.

Permalink

When did I make that argument? I never stated that supply and demand doesn't happen on those sites as well.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Ok, we are making progress. Now, according to the law of supply and demand which you understand and agree with, why a seller could want to set a lower price? Altruism?

On the other hand, why those scammers from Steamtrades try to sell their bundle trash for higher prices? xD
