AR doesn't work for you either? What phone do you have? I've got an LG Bello and it won't work on it. It needs a gyroscope and accelerometer to work.

Go to about phone, click 7 times on build number (should be in software I think) and it will trigger developer mode for you. Open the developer optinos and find something "Allow mock locations". That helps for some people. Also, try turning Google maps on in the background and playing with it in background.
Also, it also tells me that my "location cant be found" and then it just pops in the game and finds the location. However, when I move, it literally does nothing. He just stands in one location. And the AR mode doesn't work. You need gyroscope and accelerometer for that, which I apparently don't have.

Dunno how you got banned when they didn't ban any of the other thousands of players that downloaded from apkmirror a day before official launch. You sure you weren't spooking GPS location, or using an account created in a different region to bypass restrictions?

The last pokemon I enjoyed was 2nd gen. 3rd was not good already.
I play Pokemon Crystal + Pokemon Stadium 2 regularly.
So I couldn't care less about Pokemon Go, X, Y, Black, whatever.

I was in the beta, and found the fun to run out quite quickly (especially if you've played ingress before), its not by any means bad, but I was surprised how I went from "most amazing thing ever" to "that app I forget to check".
No doubt there will be people that will enjoy it more then others but pretty much how I feel.

I just found out about Ingress, didn't know the game before this morning but It looks nice :)

I don't have a smartphone, the internet is too expensive. So I just use an iPod for internet. Hopefully your right, hopefully they update it to accommodate every device when it comes out everywhere.

Well I managed to download a few things into my phone to get it to work but even then it only worked like once out of the 100 times I tried it. Its not really that good either, I was hoping to train my pokemon but all I did was catch a few. I wouldn't get your hopes up if I were you. Although I don't have a smartphone so I guess I'm not really using the full experience
