You know, the ones that post get rich quick links to everyone?

Anyway, I went on Twitter and decided to have a rant about the reason I never tweet serious stuff - because I have no followers. Stupidly, I then decided to tweet something like, "RETWEET THIS WITHIN THREE DAYS FOR A FREE SKYRIM STEAM KEY", assuming nobody would.

Of course, I instantaneously amass six retweets. Damn those bots.

So I started a proper Skyrim giveaway on Twitter. I could link to it here, but I decided you guys exclusively deserve one.

I once used Xfire to instantly tweet stuff about my status. This was also at the time I modded Yuri's Revenge, so I would constantly launch the game, crash it, code, relaunch the game, crash it, code, relaunch the game, unit overpowered so exit game to tweak it, code, relaunch the game, some reason something else I didn't touch is crashing, repeat.

Needless to say, I did not know it until I went to my twitter account, but I had thousands of twitter messages in a few days. I felt sorry for my followers, but it turns out they didn't user Twitter like any sane person. Few years later and I read your post and just remembered it existed and it reminded me of this story that I felt the need to share. Enjoy.

No problem. I loved rambling about nonsense. I am putting in good practice for when I'm an old man.

Completely unrelated to this, but could you add me on Steam? Need to test something.

Please post here when/if you add me.

(Open to anyone, just need to make sure my account isn't completely broken)

While the bots are annoying, they are arguably more engaging, and provide a more interesting read than some of the vacuous "celebrities" who are under the misapprehension that they have something of note to offer the world beyond simply appearing on our TV screens and in newspaper gossip columns...
