But if they land and sit in one of our mast then apparently we will all meet our untimely ends.
It's probably just as true as the "fact" that we will all meet our untimely ends if a pig treads on deck, if a woman treads on deck, or if a priest treads on deck. Now I just happen to be the master onboard, but during my junior years I have had pigs run around (just before the barbecue - maybe it's not MY untimely end they're talking about at all...), I've sailed under female officers who were some of the best sailors I've ever met, and there has been - thank (insert your favourite deity here) not many - times when we've needed the consolation of a priest as well.
My end will most assuredly still be untimely, but not because of albatrosses or superstitions of the past, but because of my own stupidity. My celebrated, loved stupidity. Oh the things I've had because of it, and oh, the things I have suffered because of it....

It's that time again.
That time when you won't be seeing my entries anymore for a while, as I'm going away on yet another adventure into a world where my pasttimes are not allowed to follow.
That time when I go to sea and do secret things to earn my living, to make a buck, to take care of business and family.
So here's a little something before I leave to tell you all I love you. Mostly just old bundled crap and minor games that I haven't gotten around to playing, maybe you'll find something to love here even if I haven't.
