it is a new entry in the library "DiRT 3 Complete Edition" (include all DLC for no extra cost), aaand it's steamplay (nice surprise!)

yep, but i learnt it afterwards. now that steam took out the specific mac and linux store front it's not that obvious to be updated on the new steamplay games (for the ones of us that are not camping in:)

I bumped an old thread instead of creating a new one, but its good to get the info out there either way. :) They'd been taking so long to transfer it to Steamworks that I'd completely forgotten about it. Nice that it includes all of the DLC. I didn't figure the saves would transfer, which is another reason I never bothered starting up the GFWL version.

Check your steam library, if you owned the game before it should be on your list now. Its about 14 gigs in size. Old saves are NOT compatible. This game is 100% GFWL FREE. As in GFWL has been ripped out of it and thrown into the trash where it belongs.
Gonna enjoy some driving tonight, I hope, as long as there are not any game stopping bugs. :D
