The SGFund had a great first week, giving away a copy of Skyrim, and a very promising start for our second week. Unfortunately, Paypal did not see it that way. They blocked the fund account giving no reason as to why. After contacting them, they explained that is a final decision. Hopefully, they will let us withdraw the current account balance to run the last giveaway before the group closes.
Thanks to everybody who supported the idea. I feel a bit bad that it turned out this way.

I've had a similar problem with PP in the past. I was accepting donations for some WoW and WAR addons I've created. The problem was the amount of money I was getting while my account was not fully verified. I was able to sort it by providing them with all the information required.
However I can see it might be too late for your account. The bad thing is, it is not an uncommon for PayPal to keep your money blocked for as long as 6 months or even longer. That's why I never keep too much money there.
It is sad that it's the second time money are involved and the second time it's a failure. While PP was extremely convenient, you might want to try to find some other way to fund your club.
Have you tried to ask PP what was the reason for suspension of the account? While your current account is most likely gone, the knowledge would be useful for the future.

I have provided to them all required info. Their respond was something generic giving no information or reason. Just explain what is meant by 'limited account'. The customer service line was not helpful at all on the matter too. They said they gonna escalate the issue, which should give me the ability to withdraw the money. I have sent them another email hoping to get some information.

Have you tried this http://www.chipin.com/? It worked for some friends of mine.
No idea about the fees or anything.

I am working with paypal to get the current fund back. The information they provided indicates that the account was blocked due to the way personal info was filled in. Their policy seems to be permanently block everything if it doesn't meet our demands.

You dont see group giveaways, but that's ok.
However, it doenst occur to you that I donated to get in, and create a game giveaway when I've a few ready?
And another thing, how much would you donate to a community who you dont know at all?
If you give every week $1,75; and everyone does that its just fine. (removed it to prevent more hate though.)
Ontopic: can you add my on steam?

I present to you the SG Fund Group
First, I would like to shed some light on matters as there was some confusion. The group is not part of the SteamGifts.com website. It does not affect the site nor the addon in anyway. Some people have speculated that the addon is going premium, or some other nonsense like that. Let me reassure you. It is not. SGE Addon will remain available to everybody.
If you want to discuss anything related to the group or you have questions. By all means leave a comment.
Thanks!
